Twitter Login Alerts / Locked account issues

I am running a VPS with followliker for twitter and Insta. Very modest settings that *shouldn't* trigger anything, however everytime the automation runs on my VPS I get an email from twitter saying there is an odd login (maybe because it's logging in from LA and I'm in the midwest)

Then when I went to login from my computer, it locked my account. Is there anything I should do different to keep this from happening?

I get these too with FL with new accounts. I switch to manual and let my accounts age. Then the verifications stop or occur less frequently

Gotcha -- aprox how old do you like to see your accounts age to? Mine is roughly 5 months old

3 months and I don't have any issues. The only time I got another phone lock was when I forgot to turn on VPN.

I have use a vpn too and don't have that issue

Whats the reasoning behind using the VPN?

Well, you're logging in from geographically different places in a rather short time frame, on top of that you're using different devices to do that. What can be the reason for the lock?

Either get a VPS with an ip close to your location or don't access the account from different places/devices, if you want to keep this from happening. Or just use the VPS to manually login and not your machine.

Other than that, there's nothing to be afraid of, this is a normal security measure and don't affect the account. It's just inconvenient.
