So everyone on this forum talks about IG CPA, seo, and a little bit of Facebook ads. I cant remember the last time I saw something relevant about twitter but as someone who uses the app daily, I keep coming across this tweet across different accounts - https://twitter.com/slayalldayla/status/1111717409977712641

Basically, it's a tweet with a girl who lost a bunch of weight, and she starts a thread on her new tweet about "how she lost weight" and eventually links us to this link where they want to earn an affiliate commission off of the reader for a weight loss offer. The fact that I have seen it almost every single week for the past 4+ months tells me that the marketer behind this is making good money. They are buying retweets from big meme accounts to get traffic and eyeballs.

So why is nobody talking about twitter? This looks like a really smart way to get some big-time commissions - set up a legit looking profile, make a short thread about how your life changed, then finally link to your offer and buy a bunch of retweets and likes. I see it so often and it must be working.

Like a good proxy provider, nobody wants to give up the gambit & ruin their business.
Or maybe its dead :)

I've seen this said method you're talking about though on my twitter browsing. I'm glad its working for the said marketer
 
Twitter is flourishing if you understand the goal of it..

The truest goal of twitter is the become an Influencer.

Before you skip away from this reply while rolling your eyes, I am not talking about just any type of influencer, I am talking about NANO INFLUENCERS.

See, twitter works in pockets/corners. There are corners of Twitter in any field you want. They are just little mini communities of about 50k people who believe in what you believe. For e.x Making money online.

Now these 'influencers' here have about 10 000 followers, but get HUNDREDS - THOUSANDS of retweets and likes across their account. How? Cause they are nano influencers. Everyone in the community knows them.

IG influencers are 1m + Followers
Micro influencers are 100k-900k ish
Nano Influencers are under 15k

These people have low amounts of followers but ridiculous engagement. I know one with 10k followers and he captured 1.5k emails to his mailing list. Guess what he does with it? Push any fucking product he wants cause its his audience (targeted stuff ofc)

You are essentially posting 20 tweets a day of value.

Schedule on Buffer or any other scheduling app

Find a community

Retweet tweets with comments of value

and build your tribe of people who believe in what you believe.

All brands should be doing this.... but they don't
 
As someone who has 2 million followers on Twitter - I've been thriving over the last 7 years. Justin Bieber has commented and retweeted me several times - Kylie Minogue has commented and retweeted me several times. Loads more 'celebs' have done the same.

I upload 1 (ONE) photo on Facebook which happened to be copyrighted - they delete the account. Over 250,000 followers gone. Facebook is a shockingly badly run social media platform. Pathetic.

Stay with Twitter.

Why would you post a copyrighted image in a 250.000 FB page? Are you serious?

Then again you charge $100 for 1000 followers on twitter so i pretty much know the answer
 
Twitter sadly is a piece of shit nowadays. I have this habit, that once an account of mine gets banned or deleted i will create 5 more accounts for this. Lately Twitter has banned over 70 Accounts of mine which means that i will create more than 570 Accounts in the next week. Oh well.

Erm... because I didn't know it was copyrighted at the time?

And how in the hell has that got anything to do with what I charge to grow a profile? Just because you don't have the brains to build up something like that, that's not my fault is it?

So you're trying to build accounts for a social media platform that you think is a 'piece of shit'?

I'm the kind of person who knows you don't know how to earn a good income online. You think Twitter is dead - I'm doing 6 figures from Twitter. Yet your only response is judging me as a person.

Almost every social media is thriving LOL. People just tend to like to market on IG more.

People who say social media isn't working are the people thicker than a workhouse sandwich who never have a hope in hell of making money online. They know that. I know that. We all know that.

I did go down the Instragram route, but found Twitter better.

Ha, I remember that. I was using software to basically add every female near me - I went out for a few drinks with friends and I had girls coming up to me because they'd added me as a friend.
