you said you do the @replies on twitter.. basically searching for a keyword and tweeting back with something.. but do you not include the link in this? you have it on your twitter page and just @reply something to them? where do you incorporate your link? or do you just spam the shit out of it like you said you get 200 accounts banned a day.. and you make money from spamming it all day every day.
i'm just curious cause i've tried this as well but haven't had much luck. just trying to get a push in the right direction.. last time i was searching for people talking about mcdonalds/burger king kfc/popeyes.. and i tweeted them something like.. 'vote in my school project which do you like better.. mcdonalds or burger king?' and linked them to my landing page where they could win a 100$ gift and i got 1.20 per email submit.. out of 400 some clicks i got 1 conversion.
i've also thought about doing something with content lockers.. but not sure. like search for people tweeting about a popular tv show.. and tweet 'watch new episodes of 'insert tv show' @ link" and have a content locker up .. but don't have the money to invest into a content locker at the moment.. (is this going in the right direction.. or not really?)
The software i use does all the work, it uses twitters search to find keywords i place inside the software. Once it finds the tweets with the keywords it then picks a random msg i have added to the software & adds links i set into the software, it them puts them together to create msg's like:
vote which you like better - McDonalds or BurgerKing @ URLINKHERE @username @username @username
I wound never use that as a reply, but just showing you the layout. It's key to NOT target by the words in your tweet. I find it better to simply create replies that people will Re-Tweet. But this is because i use spam accounts.
You mentioned you had 400 clicks, now is that 400 clicks to your LP, or to the offer itself? It's very hard to get a decent CR with twitter. I use ContentLocker Pro on some campaigns. This helps conversions a lot. but take a lot more work in building the LP, simply because you want to have the first page they land on NOT locked with the lockers. this way you can pre-sell the content to them, and then lock the next page making them complete a simple zip/email submit to get some content.
I'm not going into detail about what type of content i use with the lockers, just think of simple things that people would want, don't try it with the "make money" niche. your going to waste your time.
you can also iframe, but I would not suggest this if you have no idea how to do so w/o getting into trouble with your network. Simply putting an iframe of a email submit will get you blacklisted. i know there is a thread on here about using zip submits for a content locker. This is a decent idea, but the script that was shared here and the guide will get you blacklisted. They didnt mention the fact that you cant have hundreds of conversions w/o having any 2nd page submits to go along with it. Anyways this is another subject lol.
You can try the "pay with a tweet" buttons, they do work, but not so much for CPA offers.
You can search around google and find other "tweet to get" scripts or build your own linked to a twitter app.
About going in the right direction, well it all depends on how much your looking to earn.
It's best to use twitter for building an opt-in list to be honest with you. using twitter to promote CPA has been spammed to death, I've been doing it for a LONG time. I send about 20k+ @reply tweets per day. and that's now that I only use one VPS. When i used multiple VPS i was sending around 100k+/day
Your not going to see a large amount of conversions for CPA with twitter. But its a great place to start and learn how to split test.
Your conversions will change by simply changing little things, like Colors on the LP, Font, layout, content on the LP, your tweets, the shorturl service you use, the domain the LP is hosted on.
basically anything that can be changed, should be changed. But remember make sure you backup every version of your campaigns and label them so you know what ones convert and how well.
