there has to be a reason why they shut your account down. The only account I have ever had banned on twitter was because I was mass following people. Maybe you posted too many links to your website and they took it as a spam account.
Ways to reduce chance of getting banned:
1. don't do anything that may be considered spam
2. Don't follow people too quickly
3. Don't post too many links when the account is new
4. Post lots of quality tweets
5. Link out not only to your moeny site but other sites as well
I follow these guidelines and still mass follow people often and am still going strong with 10k followers on an account now. I didn't know twitter could send that amount of traffic, I will have to start using it more
