So, am I the only one who has tickets for New Moon tomorrow already? And is absolutely stoked to go see it?

Its the bright spot of a horrible week.

I'm going to see it Friday night, instead of the midnight premiere in 9.5 hours. But I'm still kinda excited. It's more along the lines of the girlfriend, but I promised I'd go with her, so...

I just bought tickets online for saturday night for me and my wife and accidentally bought another pair because I hit F5 the damn page did a refresh:D.

I don't like the movie too much but I'm going because my wife loves it and because is Movie Tavern and I'll be drinking beer during the movie:cool:
 
I don't want to. I can't stand watching anything online if I can watch it on my TV or in theatre.
 
What's all the fuss with this series? I can't see the appeal in it and truly think that it is over-rated. And yes, I'm a girl. <.< (or maybe not since all my gfs talk about it alll the time and it's driving me insaaaaaaaneee!)

I know what you mean! Most of my friends are cheap n watch all new movies online... but I just hate the crappy quality and enjoy it much more at the movie theatre... plus it's an excuse to earn some "be-initiative-and-pay-attention-to-me-like-you-care" points with the missus!

Not a fan of twilight personally saw 2012 other dat that was good but was 3 hours long :| but i do prefer to watch films in the cinema
 
i dont get the whole twilight thing. my wife is really into it. i got tickets for 9:30 tonight for an early premiere so im gonna take her. at least i can skip all the crowds.

Did you read the books?

I wasn't impressed with the first movie, but for a "low budget supposed to be cult following movie", it was okay I guess. Helped that I had read the book so I knew what was missing ^_^

I'm hoping this movie with the big budget behind it will be awesome.
 
I might get through the first book in this lifetime. But I'm not alone when I say that the author hasn't the first clue about writing. Whenever I say that people inevitably chime in that it is a good story even if it isn't well written.
 
hohum, my 14 year old girl ambitions left me long ago. I'll wait for the next Dark Knight installment.
 
Cloverfield > New Moon I'm sure... you can't beat that movie for cult following in post Fight-Club/American Psycho 1999.
