Not going to happen. If they got into trouble for selling the program I'm sure that they won't distribute it for free so anyone can continue abusing Twitter in much larger scale, thus putting them in a worse situation. And secondly, they have spent years developing the application so why would they give the fruit of their work FOR FREE? If they have coded the program well, large parts of it can be easily reused in other projects so they would be extremely stupid to give away such valuable stuff.

You really think that none of thousands of owners who would receive source wouldn't release it to the public?
Btw, is there any danger of feds getting data about license owners?

I agree here. It's going to land them in more trouble. I would never do that if I was getting sued. Even if the source code was leaked or released, we'd need to find a programmer on here who can do that. And they might not want to in case they get in trouble too. Let's just wait for some new software to come round.

If you're not dumb you should be able to earn at least 5x license cost in a month or two... Only buyers who bought license week or so ago should get refund...
