[Tutorial/Tips] How YouTube Ranks your Video

Sorry this may be a stupid question. I have recently started thinking about doing some youtube but haven't done alot of research yet.

I was wondering if your using adsense if there is a general average of what you can expect. I mean like if you have 100 videos getting lets say 10 visits a day so 30,000 views a month, what would be a general idea of income from that? I know it depends on the niche and all that but with 1000 videos I was wondering if you have a general way of calculating your average income over all your views.

Thanks, Im not asking for specifics just trying to get an idea what the effort VS return is on a general level according to views not rankings or ammount of videos.

If you had 30,000 views per month depending on the niche I'd estimate between $20 upto $150 per month.
Some views aren't monetize able remember, if you had 30,000 monetizable views per month then you'd be on $200/Month+ but that's unlikely. I get about 900 Monetizeable views per month which returns about $10/day from Adsense and growing nearly every day..

wasn't there a program posted on here that gives youtube views and watches the video for a certain timeframe ive been trying to find it but i dont see it anymore...
can someone post if u find it please TY...

There are few such programs: vagex, u2bviews for example. But they are not adsense safe.

Question to OP:
Is adsense fine with you having so much accounts and videos?

Well I didn't realise the views are sometimes not able to monitize but I googled it. Im still a bit confused about it. I understand that not 100% of the time an ad will be displayed but if you have 100%% of your video's created by you with no copyright issues shouldn't almost all of your views be able to display an ad?

Im mostly confused about all the different ways to monitize. I know there are a few different ways to display adsense so I know you have to experiment a bit and see what works best. I know about the Youtube partnership but Im unclear it that should be a goal or not. Im not sure if adsense can be used in conjuntion with a partnership or not.

I know there are alot of similar sites as youtube, obviously not as good but do you also upload your same videos on them. If you do do you just leave the adsense imbeded or do you monities differently on the other sites or just use the other sites for backlinks or social interaction?

Sorry for so many questions. I understand the ranking part for the most part but could you maybe recomend a course or something to learn the ins and outs on youtube and the other sites and the options to monitise them?

Dear DHSellerUK, I have just one question, maybe nobody noticed it or everyone (except me) knows that: how do you get backlinks? :) You know, do you buy some on Fiverr or you add youtube links to the directories (if there are any..)?
I would be grateful for this info. Everyone can buy/create a video, write better or worse title, description.. but backlinks? How to get them?
Thank you!

I have licneses or SENuke XCr, GSA Search Ranker, Scrapebox and a VA which does manual link building for me.

I can see that you are experienced with YT and i'd like to ask you some questions. I want to get into YT+CPA game. Recently i bought 30x Sim card i'm gonna create the accounts manually. Do i have to use a proxy or there is no problem if im logging into all my YT accounts from the same IP? This would help me a lot. Thanks

DHSellerUK,
let me ask you when doing your KW research what do you look for as far as a KW exact match traffic amount, or broad match traffic amount...
and what do u think about doing direct linking from a youtube video to a CPA offer...

Your guide is pretty sweet mate i enjoyed reading it. I do pretty much the same thing, but with a little distinct features :). I just buy Cheap HIGH PR LINKS and it works pretty great i must say :) but i only do this more YT videos and not websites LOL. I buy my HIGH PR links for cheap prices http://craigslistpvapostingservice.com but there are many providers out there.

As far as logging into 10 accounts under 1 ip, i never do it. Why? Its all about that footprint and Google/Youtube Loves hunting footprints trust me :)

Use TorBrowser to use the internet with multiple IPs. It works great hehe!

"It's a Team Fortress 2 video, gets about 50 views per day"
Ohh come on dude..50views/day it's a very small amount. Rather blast them with mobile views and see what happens next.
The truth in how youtube algorithm works: Videos with more views/more watched minutes (not more retention, godammit) get shown MORE in the search! This simple fact can be demonstrated by random clicking suggested videos, and you'll see that after 10 pages you get to videos with over 1million views.
In other words, fuck seo, start rising the stats.

+Channel authority is very true these days. More videos in your back will magically link togheter on the suggestions. And being a partner helps even more, because you get featured.

that is true but I think the KEY is to not only try to rank in youtube but i want to get on the #1 page of the BIG 3 search engines too...
because right now its easier for me to get ranked high on google than to get tons of views, i want to get targeted views not just anyviews... and if you go to youtube and do a search you will see that its not just the views that get u ranked high in youtube either... OPTIMIZATION is always and forever will be king... + views, comments, and length of time watched on the video... remember GOOGLE = YOUTUBE now 1 in the same so same algorithms...

Thanks for the great post. You definitely hit on some points that are obvious but i didnt think of (nor realize the value of!). Ive been doing local videoscribe & powtoons vids and boosting them with vagex but you definitely added some sense to my gameplam. Great stuff :)

YW i have had more success with video marketing in a short period time than with websites lol, but dont forget that websites are long term for the most part but videos can b also..., the only thing i am trying to test for now is to see how long will videos stay on page 1 if i dont do any other BL blast for them.
that i dont know yet.
another reason i luv video marketing is because i can do it faster and youtube itself is a authority hub site and not to mention the main point GOOGLE OWNS YOUTUBE... :bed3:

I don't go through all that trouble, and I'm averaging around $120 a day between 2 channels. I just take the title, put it in the description, and then in tags. NO backlinking, and between both channels I dominate the first 2 pages of SERP's. Maybe because it's not considered a highly competitive niche I guess. I have the top 3 with a search that results in 546K matches.
