First thing is that everything is dirty by my standards, some are within limit while other is crossing the limit.
1. Here is a compliant copy, "Your PC may be at risk. Please call our technicians for proactive defense."
2. Here is a crossing the limit - scam copy, "Your PC is at risk. Please call our technicians to save your PC from fatal data loss".
In the first copy, you are only expressing the possibility that a visitor's PC might be at risk and he may need your technician's support.
While in the second copy, you are assuring him that his PC is definitely at RISK and you MUST use their technician's support to save his PC from FATAL data loss. Very misleading copy.
Obviously, copy 1 gets lower conversion rate while copy 2 gets crazy high conversion rate because it deludes gullible visitors.
I do not recommend the use of copy 2 since it's very misleading and definitely not legal.
Always use compliant creatives and landing pages for sustainable business.
You may make crazy money by going "aggressive" and "scamy" but you'll get busted and it's very unethical and illegal
- Do not go this route my friends, you are better than this.
