Ya i am Agree with you. I used this for my one site to gain links quickly via pinging, Rss, Social bookmarking this site didn't perform better however i build lots of angela and paul links and pinged them once/everyday. but no much ranking improvements.

The second site i didn't used Ping for angela and paul but google let to crawl links itself i see that links are gaining very slowly and ranking improving rapidly in search engine.

so I think it is true that if google crawls it manually it is slow backlink gaining process day by day .

unfortunately the tool only gives the general forum url at the end of the blast.

I have to save profiles urls manually, so lets forget about it

I would like to make a quick post here because I am seeing all kinds of threads on BHW and getting of tons of PMs from people that are literalyy obsessing over their backlinks.

Backlinks are important, but obsessing over them and whether or not you can see them indexed is 110% not beneficial to you.

Just because Google, Yahoo, or whatever tool you use doesn't show a backlink doesn't show a backlink does not mean that it doesn't exist. You have to remember that the internet is HUGE. There are millions upon millions of sites out there, and countless new sites being added every day. Not to mention other marketers doing the same things trying to get things indexed.

The point is that Google indexes things at different times. Also, even though something doesn't show up doesn't they haven't indexed it. They just haven't updated their index yet.

When you obsess over your backlinks and index them, you waste time that you could be using to get more traffic to your money pages. Again backlinks are important, but they are not what will make you money in the end.

Driving targeted traffic to your money pages is the only thing that will make you money.

The steps I have laid in this tutorial are really all you need to do for your backlinks. Just keep building more, and also don't forget to build multiple points of entry to your money pages via thing like articles, web 2.0, video, etc.

I'm not entirely sure if I understood the tutorial. Here's how I interpreted it.

1. I make a list of the pages my backlinks are shown on.
2. I create one RSS feed by using these links. The links are like this if it would be in html: <a href="WEBSITE-WHERE-THE-BACKLINK-IS-ON">THE KEYWORDS I WANT TO RANK FOR</a>
3. I submit my website to a RSS aggregator
4. I bookmark the feed on OnlyWire
5. I ping the feed I created

is this the way I'm supposed to do it?

I was just wondering, when creating the feed (with either the tool you mentioned in the first post, or the downloadable tool someone has not long ago posted in this thread), it asks for a URL straight away, should I be putting a URL where I'm going to upload the RSS feed to my server? Or don't I need to do that?

Usually am not this dumb with this kind of thing, but just confused me a little.

Hi, thanks for the time spent trying to help noobs, I have read and read the post and others in BHW and unfortunately I can't figure out how to fill the "Edit Channel Configuration" IceRocket form... there are three fields marked with asterisk 1-Channel name 2-Channel link and 3-Channel Description.

I don't know what to put in #2 and #3, I am suposed to put the angela/paul/blog link in the #2 and Keywords in #3? or my money site in #2 and all the angela/paul/blog links in #3?

When I save the configuration there is also the option "Add Entry", I wonder what it is suposed for...

If somebody can clarify I would be very grateful.

I guess I got it now, I wasn't really sure what to place in "RSS Feed" box in the form so I just put my website link and all the backlinks in the big box above; after submit with RSS Submiter and ping I looked in my stats that Google crawled my website like in 5 minutes (it usualy does once per day at night), so I guess I'm doing something ok hehe.

I've answered these same questions many times over...:sigh1:

It seems a lot of people are making the same 3 mistakes here:

• Not reading the entire thread carefully.
• Misunderstanding the proper application of this method.
• Obsessing over their backlinks feeds.

Now onto the questions:

1. I don't even know why people are asking about uploading their backlinks feeds to their own site. I have never done this nor found the need to since there is really no use for it.

2. There is no standard # for me. I just put whatever I can get away with per feed and that's it.

3. I don't ever obsess over my backlink indexing %'s because there's no point. It does absolutely nothing except hold you back. The only thing that matters to me is my rankings, and that's the only thing that you should be concerned with.
