Not to poop on your parade but honestly, you are one of the biggest "thank you whores" on bhw. You crave attention, that`s why you do all you that you do. How do I know? Well, your first replies to your own threads are usually like "xxx people saw this thread and only x people thank me? I`m so disappointed
Never really considered myself that, but if that's what you think, I'm not going to argue.
The reason I post that stuff, is because when I spend three hours recording a 10 minute podcast, or spend an hour posting a good tutorial with screenshots and all, and then 50 people download it without showing any appreciation whatsoever, it's fucking degrading. I'm not looking for anything in return, but why should I make contributions when everyone leeches it? How shitty would you feel if you made something really good for the community, and then nobody shows any appreciation when they go and download it? It takes 3 seconds to post a reply saying something like "thanks man, good podcast" or something similar.
Also, you mentioned me saying that I will not share anything else if people don't show appreciation. I do not recall saying that. I will always continue to make valuable posts, because I love this community and helping people for me is all the reward I need. However, I can't know who I help if I get no support in what I do. I could care less about how many people thank my posts. I want to be a reputable member here, and I want people to be able to come to me and ask questions.
Either way, I can't change how people act, and I probably won't change your perspective on me by replying with this. However, once you are able to look at a post and say "wow, he really wants me to click that thanks button", you will find drastic distinctions about the post that are miles away from the posts I make.
I'll mention this in my next podcast. If people don't want to show support, we'll see how long the podcasts last. I love doing them, but from what I am hearing from you, it makes it sound like the only reason they actually show support is because they don't want me to feel like an idiot.

Anytime someone posts watered-down information, attempts to "teach" people how to make money (when they don't even do it themselves), or writes "CLIX THE THX BUTTUN IF YOU LIEK THISS!!!!11!!1!" is a douche. There's one thing if you say "if this helped you, show thanks by replying, repping, or clicking that magic button", that is if you actually put effort into what you're sharing. Otherwise -- DOUCHE.

Not sure if you guys know but digg me or digg my link exchange posts often get your digg account banned. Digg moderators find such posts and close accounts. I think digg sucks in general - they banned two different accounts of mine already however i can always get a new one with proxy. Anyways just a warning for those who use digg and wanna keep their accounts. I personally prefer reddit.

You did a real good job so the questions were already answered. But I am thinking this is where people are thinking you are a thank whore.
I hope you continue to post threads like that as it gave me some ideas which is what I look for in threads [not to find out and do everything exactly the way you do it]
I will check out your podcasts as I did not even know you were doing them, [too many damn threads anymore I don't see them all]

You, along with others, have failed to read exactly what I wrote. For one, I never said anything wrong with asking to click the thanks button. I was aiming at posts that are strictly made to increase reputation, thank you clicks, etc. Podcasts that I put hours into making don't really fall under that category if you ask me. And yes I did do that, I'm not going to lie, for reasons I stated above. It was to spice things up, make the post interactive and fun, and at the end they would get a reward.
Wow you know what? Fuck you. Fuck you and anyone who wants to give me shit about this post. This was supposed to be fun, and just about everyone took the whole thing way to god damn seriously. If you don't like the post, then fucking leave alright? I'm sorry for even fucking attempting to make someone laugh a little. You guys need to lighten up a little bit - I'm tired of getting shit for all this. Damnit, fuck this post. This pisses me off beyond belief.
