Here’s the result I’ve got from my “whitelist” campaign a few days ago:

sales thread 3 - pic 1.png

See how I’ve done it below.

Summary

Start Date:
May 1

End Date: May 3

Offer Type: Finance

Traffic Source: Mobidea

GEO: India

Spent: -$69

Revenue: +$439

Profit: +$370

ROI: +536.23%

Let’s discuss a little about the whitelist first since I run this campaign based on that. Whitelisting is a significant part of CPA marketing which is considered as a as a win-win situation for both marketer and advertiser. In simple words, marketers (creators) create a social media identity based on their past campaigns which means they collect info from users that are interested in a specific type of offer to show them similar offers in the future. For this campaign, I’ve used my whitelist created for Indian users who are interested in mainstream utilities.

Traffic Source, Country & Offer

My geo is India for this campaign and India is #2 or #3 countries in terms of traffic’s volume.

The network that I’m working with for this offer is Zeydoo and I sent India’s traffic to offer. Based on your ad network, you can see what verticals have high-performance. For example, in Mobidea, Finance, Utilities and Dating are high-performing verticals. This may be different for other ad networks based on their traffic’s type.

Here’s screenshot of offer’s page:

Offer Details

Offer Name:
Crypto Mania
Payout: $0.65 / PPI
Categories: Finance App
Network: AdsMain
Last Updated: May 04, 2024
Countries: India

Valid Convert = user has to install, run and use the app. Mobidea has good traffic for this type of offer but nothing can be predicted before running the initial test campaign. Anyway, I’ve talked with my AM on Mobidea as well and after getting his confirmation, I decided to run this offer.

My Strategy

I started testing this offer based on the CPC pricing model which I pay for clicks not views. My experience says that this type of offers perform better on CPC but that’s only my opinion, so always do your own research before choosing your pricing model

For the campaign’s setting, I set it to get traffic only from Android’s versions higher than 9 since the lower versions have poor performance. Also, India is one of those geos that can eat all your testing budget in a blink of an eye so always set your bid smartly.

And lastly, as you know, people speak and understand English well in India but the trick here is targeting Hindi language in your campaign as well. That would not be difficult to translate your LP with many tools out there or even Google translate but you definitely leave money on the table if you run your campaign in India without targeting the Indian language. Later, with an A/B test, you will be able to recognize which language performs better for your campaign then exclude the other one.

Notification
Since we have an app install offer here, we need to user a notification to get user’s attention. Something like this:

5YgpHvH9B7D7vlP6PBWPAAJlwhQSY1wy6H_Jsq6V38EkzTW8yYH8Q2mZXql_DVf6cOnMglU7r3SUrzpSqBZleAO1t5B5wdxD35BSuv8r1st2VvMUNmECHrjzJgeapWqC_EyTF_ozmPzxoW143taSNFw

What you need to pay attention to here is that almost all ad network have rules for running such notifications. For example, you don’t have permission to use the Windows, Android, Apple, etc. logo in your notification’s ad, so make sure to check the rules of your network before running the campaign to avoid getting into trouble.

Also, in this type of ad format, you have only one chance to get user’s attention after he/she sees the ad, so do your best and choose the best description and title for your ad to don’t lose user’s attention.

Optimization

Put Limits -
For this type of campaigns, it’s always recommended to set limits on your campaign to don’t over spend on both traffic and test’s budget. I remember it was one of my first’s mistake when I’ve just started because I wanted to get as much traffic as possible so I set the campaign’s limit too high or sometimes even without any limit and I lose tons of money by doing this so, don’t repeat my mistake! ; )

Sweep Creatives - If you use creatives for your campaigns, you should be brave enough to change them too! Sometimes (if not say most of the times), if you start with 5, 6 creatives at the beginning, 2 or 3 of them may have poor performance after initial test and that’s not logical to keep them running when you have option to

Make a Blacklist - There are always ad formats, zones, geos, ips, etc. that don’t perform well, by blacklisting these placements, your budget won’t be wasted on low-performing fields. This is the same for whitelisting. When you whitelist placements, you can use it for your future campaigns like I did for this one.

Result

Finally here the result after 3 days I’ve got with this offer and whitelisted zones:

Total spent at Adsterra for all 3 days was: $69

Total earnings: $439

Income: $439-$69 = +$370

ROI: 536%

I’ve tried to explain everything in details and this thread and mentioned to some benefits of creating whitelist while running CPA campaigns. I really like that and it benefits me a lot. With a long whitelist and combination of well-performing creatives, you can really make a bank. And most of the times, whitelists give you more than what you’ve expected so put them in your check list always.

This is a solid setup. Good results too.

What would you suggest for beginners? Sticking to a niche & preparing a whitelist for future campaigns, or testing multiple niches to find the most profitable offers.

Numbers don't add up. If you check zeydoo this offer pays $0.063 for indian install. Seems like this threads are just used to generate sales to your media buying course.

Wow, great numbers, everything you touch seems turn into gold!

I don't understand anything of what exactly you are doing...

Can someone explain in detail of what this guy is doing? It is not clear.

He is paying ads to promote a product? Which product?

Which sponsor is paying him for the sales? Can someone explain?

Great numbers mate, thanks for sharing

OP keeps dropping these crap, recycled 'Money Making' threads just to push his media buying garbage. Miss the old BHW days when mods booted these clowns out for playing these games

Any reason for spending the figure of $69 only ? Why not $70 or $65 ?
$69 is my total ad spend for the campaign in 3 days, so technicaly I can't say $70 or $65, when I spent $65 for the ad. ;)

Thanks mate but that's not as you said. Actually I make 6, 7 or even 10 unsuccessful campaigns before reach a successful one. I just don't post my fail campaigns here because I know that its not interesting for members to see my fails. ;)

You need to be familiar with cpa + media buying to figure it out. :)

Yea? Well, the same answer for previous pessimist member applies for your message too, I copy it here so read it carefully!

I use this thread and any other thread that I create to promote my media buying course because I'm truly proud of it. I spent weeks and months to create my course (much more than the time you spent to write these couple of negative lines), and I stay behind it with all my heart.

In addition to that, it's better to know that there's not anything wrong with doing this as long as it's under forum's rules, so if you have problem with rules, find the solution somewhere else.

I've spent time and effort to create this thread and share my two cents with community. As you can see, some members liked it so it was useful for the community but what about you? What did you share in forum to add some value to community or help some members with your words? What is benefit behind your message? Does it help anyone? No, it's totally worthless and that's excatly why you have shared it because it's easy and unlike valuable threads, it does not take much of your time to share these negative comments.

Next time, when you see a thread you don't like, don't be hateful and simply move on, or do even a better thing and publish something more valuable then tag me on your thread and I promise that I will LIKE your thread my friend.

By the way, I'm also missing the old days of BHW where members had more respect to each other and acted like a grown-man when they saw something they didn't like.

Good luck!

Hey, I have tons of India traffic, do you think I can do the same ?
And also which network has this offer, I really can't get you because you mentioned so many networks

Are you going to scale this campaign?

What also do you suggest for someone about to start

How much budget should the person stat with?

Hi there, of course you can but you need to find the right traffic for your offer. I've used AdsMain network to get offer link but it can be found in other networks as well. Try following site to find proper offers:

Thanks mate,

Well, that's not an easy question since I don't know your previous experience in media buying but I advise to start learning everything properly first and don't rush to enter into campaign creation phase. You can start with as low as $10 but you should also set your expectations properly and don't expect to make $1k from it. ;)

And about this campaign, I don't scale it since there is not more traffic for that from the ad network but I keep it running on a positive daily ROI.

So wait.. Ermm, what exactly was your traffic source?

Was it Adsterra or Mobidea?

As well for network:
Was it AdsMain or Zeydoo ?

Seems OP confused what he was doing in campaign? :D
At some parts of story he made it sound like he owned app and was running CPA offers to get installs in other part he makes it sound like he was doing arbitrage to get CPA earnings as marketer
