Tumblr random button problem!?

Hey all, I've made a very simple random tumblr button using their "/random" feature, and it works but it's only showing posts from a certain time period about a year ago, and not any posts in the past year, any ideas why this might be happening? Or any other random script alternatives for my tumblr blog?
