Trying to understand BHW

Hi, I'm still new here and trying to understand how it all works. I made a thread asking for people to share proxy expenses with and it got deleted very fast, and reading through several threads I got the general impression that people are on their toes and generally very cautious about what they say or not say and I feel like really paranoid every time I want to reply or post a message.

Is it just me? or posting here feels like living in a communist country where there are many things you shouldn't do or say but they are not all that clear and if the dictators find out you will get tortured or sent to labor camp?

It's pretty simple. Don't sell or promote anything without paying for the privilege.

Don't bitch about the rules because no one gives a shit about what you think and it won't help your image. I've been here 9 years and everything works fine.

We don't have a labor camp but @jazzc is working on setting one up so stay tuned.

It’s pretty simple @mylastvacation - there are terms and conditions in the footer of the site which contain the majority of the rules and there are sticky posts in some of the sub-forums covering specific rules pertaining to those forums.

Just read and follow those rules and you will be fine. I wouldn’t class that as communism, it’s more like a standard means of regulation and control that you’ll find with almost any modern service provider.
