Trying to get to No1 in google

Hi,

I'm at the final stages of getting to number 1 spot in the big G. Its taken nearly 2 years to get to the position i am. It looks like my competitors are working just as hard with SEO efforts making it even tougher for me to beat them.

Would anyone be able to give me a hand and tell me what would need to be done to get the top spot as im running out of ideas as to what to do next? If someone can do this id really appreciate it! PM for site.

Try different tactics, use XRumer (since your site is old, no worries) and blast it :) Use Scrapebox to build backlinks automatically, use different tactics.
 
Yea ive run a few of these services, had a couple of linkwheels built. Haven't used scrapebox yet - i am going to be looking into this one. As you can imagine after 2 years of being patient and im now so close to the top spot its getting fustrating.

I will be happy if anyone can help me. I am in 3-5th spot for last 1 month in weight loss niche.
 
If you havent used SB then it looks like your not doing everything you can. Dont just wait. Start working on your strategy now. There a several tools out there we all use.
 
To get #1 Google needs to be convinced your site is the most "authorative" on it's niche.

This can come from backlinks - The "click here" syndrome ( watch the video on http://spinblitz.com) or from loads of content.

Either can work but a combination of both is a winner.
 
Im going to keep this thread updated with the progress. I have put some services into action - if my site makes a move i will explain what has been done and what services have been used to do it. So far no results as of yet - but i think wont see progress for 1-2 weeks

Maybe just do what you're doing now, but scale it a bit higher. That means, more articles, more links, more of whatever you're doing.

Depending on how much you're willing to risk, you can even hire someone for $400 a month to build you manual links full time, so you can get your links where automatic software won't take you. IE - on forums which require re-captcha to register (Xrumer is not able to solve these) and so on.

I am planning on releasing a service here on BHW soon for a large amount of backlinks via ScrapeBox (at the moment still thinking about the service, but it will be a huge amount, something like maybe 50K or 100K confirmed links) and something like this might help. I will PM you when I have decided to do it and have my thread approved - but something like that *might* help as it seems you need every last bit of linkage you can get.

Also, there is a service called DripFeedBlast. It is an 'ongoing' service with Xrumer links. I didn't see much result from it, but you can look into it.

Me personally i would take a risk of damaging my current rankings as i rank no 1 for many of the keywords i have targetted so far. The main 2 keywords im targetting im very close to getting top spot and its taken nearly a year to get to the positions im at today so don't want to risk them with massive link blasts.

I have found that high PR links on content relevant sites give a lot more power over lesser quality links, But obviously High PR content relevant sites can be very hard to come by to get main indexed page anchored links.
 
The best tactic for me has always been a shit load of ORIGINAL CONTENT written by me and not a software, with key do follow back links placed by a human and not a bot. Quality over quantity gets er done and google is very good at tracking quality.

lol... So just a quick update - Today i have woken up to find im now position 3 for my keyword, only gone up one position but it's progress and only 2 positions away from the number one spot!
