Trying Hard but Nothing is Happening.... :(

So, should I send scrapebox blasts or buy some to forum profiles etc I have created? Will it help my rankings.

No, No and No

I think the other members have given you some great advice. My suggestion would be to take that advice and apply it strategically to your site. And stop trying to force the same sh!tty backlinks on your site (no offense).

Thanks for the help, I would start my link building campaign afresh and try to copy the competitiors links, will post again when I get the results. :)

So, I took first step to online marketing and started building my site, I built it for displaying CPM/CPC ads and not selling services. But my site is stuck on page 2 of Google for low competition keyword for quite long time by now. Here is what I did to rank it to first position:

1. I did keyword research and found a good keyword having little competition and quite good traffic.
2. Made a Wordpress site with lots of posts related to niche. (Site was not in top10 pages of google at that time)
3. Built backlinks manually using Angela Backlinks (Site came to fourth page almost instantly)
4. Site remain stuck on page 4 for quite long.
5. Added more content and built direct backlinks to my site like social bookmarking, forum profiles etc using automated tools like SenukeX and WikiRobot. (came to page 2)
6. Building more direct backlinks to site for long time but its still stuck at page 2.
7. What am I doing wrong?

I made all backlinks directly to my site, didnt made backlinks to my backlinks. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me. Thanks :)

Didn't read other replies on this thread so I might be repeating. OP did you do the any of the following :-

  • Create atleast 4 -5 unique unspun article and submitted?
  • While building the articles, did you do the appropriate keyword research to have keyword density of 1-2 percent which is the norm?
  • Did you have any secondary keywords?
  • Any Web 2.0 backlinking or pages on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram etc
  • Forum signature backlinking on popular gaming forums? How about putting backlinks in high profile game network news websites like Gamespot, IGN from top of my mind
  • Did you build any tier 1,2,3 backlinking to your money sites?
  • Did you diversity your anchor text and added alt tags on your images?
  • Did you build any parasite pages?
  • Any attempt on creating 'WOW' content?

If you that, you can rank in the toughest of the toughest niches. PM if any queries. Also if you have capital, just build a PBN :)

Link building which you are doing is out dated, try high pr links, blog posts, try to contact sites in your niche and negotiate a guest post and you'll be on page 1 in no time if you are already page 2.

I also recommend guest posts and probably PBN links, you need something a bit stronger if you want to rank.

BreakBrix can be harsh but he is giving you the reality. The kind of links you are building sounds like automated SPAM any kid with SEnuke and GSA can pull off. You don't want to be sending those links direct to your website.

Good quality links are ones that are:
1. Contextual (Articles based on your nice)
2. Related to your keywords
3. Links you have absolute control over

The kind of forum profile and blog comment links are automated and probably on dodgy sites. These links are not authoritative and not natural to Google seeing many random links pointing to a fresh site.

You can get started on building quality web 2.0s and PBNs. They both contain the elements of a good link as I mentioned above. Then you can send spam using your tools to some of these properties to help give them a boost. Many people here are giving you priceless advice. Start reading up on those and don't give up. It's not going to be cheap but you will start to see some result.

Wish you all the best mate.

I don't think BreaknBrix is being harsh or offensive at all! He's giving you the best piece of information you could need right now at the moment. You are already ranking page 2, that's a lot better than a lot of people. So go and educate yourself on the topic.

Here are a few links that might get you started:

Keep it up, you're doing good!

Some good links posted here. OP read up, modify your project and keep going - most important thing is not to give up.

So, just an update. I sent some likes and shares using addmefast and also sent some scrapebox blasts to forum profiles and social bookmarks etc which I created using SenukeXCR earlier. I am starting to see some positive movement. Hope it continues this way :)
