It's possible he needs the account to get a foreign bank account from where he then transfers to local bank.

Not an expert, but we have been using transferwise for over 3 years now. These incidents started after TW became famous in BHW and people started spamming them lol (nothing to do with BHW directly though). My advice would be that keep it real. Don't fake anything, and you will be fine.

Good to know. This might be just an isolated issue. Hope OP can give us more details on what really happen.

They usually answer me quite fast and are friendly. Did you verify your account ?

I had an account deactivated a long time ago, everything was fine until i tried to open a business account, then way more questions started coming in. I must have triggered their risk compliance team. It was downhill from there, no logic just what they say goes. You get that with smaller, lesser known companies.

Long story short, keep it clean and low risk.
