transferwise account deactivated

I received a thousand dollars from my friend last month and then the account deactivated
This is my account second account banned but without reason,
I send them an email, no response yet,I see too many accounts deactivated threads on the Internet
Is this really a trustworthy company?
 
wow, so you lost all those Money? I've used them few times every month but not too often like I do on paypal, but some of my client payments go through there, I always move my funds to my local bank almost right away. No funds stay there more than 3 to 5 days. Have you tried calling their customer service hot line?

I use them to transfer to my bank directly,I don't dare to save fund to my account.
email them,5 days passed,no repsonse

So the money didn't enter your bank account? My account was deactivated too for no reason and I'm planning to use them again. Maybe a bad idea.

You might want to call them instead. I'm also interested to know what could be the reason. That will help me a lot in the future.
 
I am planning to use them soon and do not want this to happen, any transferwise experts who can chime in and clear the doubts please?

Not an expert, but we have been using transferwise for over 3 years now. These incidents started after TW became famous in BHW and people started spamming them lol (nothing to do with BHW directly though). My advice would be that keep it real. Don't fake anything, and you will be fine.

You mean the documents right?

Btw what if the sender has screwed up things and things are ok at my end is there anything to worry about?

Yupp. If you are receiving money, then you don't even need an account with them. Just your NEFT details are fine. If you are sending, then keep the docs handy and don't use fake document... that's it. :)

Their support is very good according to our experience. Yup they sometime do screw up things (like sending money from your personal account instead of the business account etc) but they are pretty quick to fix them when you contact them. I don't know whay they are not answering you. Perhaps try calling them. That will work better.

I wonder if i open the account again and use it to send money to the same bank account maybe will cause ban again

I dunno whom you contacted. Try calling them as I mentioned.

Oh alright. I think it's better to just get this sorted out.
 
Same thing happen on my side also. I get money on Amazon Affiliate payment.. Everything goes smoothy past 6 months. But last week i got mail on transferwise to deactivated your account.. Asking for Self Holding Documents. I submit my documents with self holding. After 10 days yesterday i got mail to appeal denied to closed permanently..

I already called them several times,the answer is same,can't tell you the reason and send email to dispute department
 
Transfer wise do ban accounts without no absolute reason, Used it first time .. everything went fine. On the second transaction , same account, account got deactivated. Called support , directed me to another department , we went back and forth and they later decide i had a duplicate account.
I was confused AF.

Hmm, complicated case as it seems.

You said you received the money. So, you wouldn't need a TW account atall. In that case, why worry? Either the money goes to your bank account, or it will be reversed.
