Traffic without backlinks is it possible?

i had a 3 blogs with zero backlink but i get 3500 plus visitors per day .
it's all about your nich and keywourd. yes in 2k13 2k14 backlink was a important but in 2k16 2k17 2k18 2k19 is not.
and yes there a important things if you get organic traffic you should be a smart when you choise your topics .
for example i open a blog in blogger(.com) since one month but i drive more than 2OO visitors per day.
sorry but i can't tell you my nich
and good luck.
Can you tell if it competitive niche or not? I think if niche is not so competitive, maybe it is easy to achieve traffic. Especially if main traffic is not from US.
Do you write articles? Are you native speaker?

Possible to get traffic without backlinks but it's just much harder and might take a longer time. You'd need to have low competitive keywords but high SV to achieve this though. And of course, a great SEO tool like Ahrefs, and certainty, good content.

i hope that you got answer here so far from the post. very much possible.

It hardly doable. And it is not SEO. It`s having traffic by branding. I was talking about keywords, creating content for low comp keywords and so on.
Traffic is traffic, whether it comes from Google, which is an indirect method, or directly via click-thrus or typing the url in the browser. Brand mentions are effective to that end, and indirectly helps SEO, since the direct traffic generated will be viewed by Google as indicative of a natural profile, whereas search engine-only traffic is viewed as an artificial footprint.

But if you want to go the SEO route with low comp keywords and zero external backlinks, just build a site with 300+ pages of good content, each page of which uses a Keyword Golden Ratio term, and at least 200 internal links to each key page---then wait (perhaps for a long time) for it to get naturally indexed and recognized authority by Google. As mentioned by others, it's hard to build a large site with well-siloed content without G noticing it. It just may take forever for it to get around to doing so, which is why most people try to speed things up with link building campaigns.

I agree but I`m more interesting in backlinks which can bring traffic (without ranking)

Without backlinks it's impossible to rank for the meaningful keywords that will make your content creation efforts worthwhile.

I mean, you can write a 5,000-word article on a 0 KD keyword and it will rank, but it will bring little traffic.

To compete for profitable keywords your site needs to have a strong backlink profile.

You migh get rank on some keywords however I don't think it work of you write long article with lsi keywords that may help you get some traffic however it's not that easy as you mentioned in the post.

Traffic without backlinks is possible.
Most people share their blog links on social media channels only once and that’s a big mistake.
You can break your blog article into many micro stories and share it multiple times.

And to increase the visitors for your article here are the steps to follow:
Configure website technicalities
Assess top-ranking articles on search engine result page (SERP) for ideas
Produce better content
Encourage contributions

Is it possible to gain traffic from only content, which are not written well (written by non english speaker)? Without backlinks. Optimized by low comp keywords only.
What if I spent a lot of time for finding low comp keywords, which are not mentioned on serp on competition pages titles and have no anchor baclkinks. Write article of low or middle quality, which will pass Grammarly free, but will not be good readable for native readers. The article will have nice appearance, bullets, tables, images, videos. Can I have traffic from such articles?

And if I want to get 1000 visitors per day, do I must write 1000 such articles? :) Or maybe 10K articles?

VERY VERY POSSIBLE! You can get traffic without backlinks ofcourse you can. This is very common question among bloggers I know. I even had a debate on one Facebook group about it. And I won it by showing the actual screenshots outranking sites like Forbes and Neil Patel.

I am not saying it can be possible to rank high with very low quality content. But I must say content has to be better. The mentioned optimization points are all good and don't forget to add "table of content".

Just write your content in the most readable format and don't over-do your keyword optimization by doing keyword stuffing. And always update your article once in a six months or anytime you can.

And try to go for a 20-30 long and quality content articles (like 1500 to 2k word count) over hundreds of short content articles.

A simple example for you and everyone is "Wikipedia" its the only site that has traffic in billion, why? Because it is the only site in the world that gets its content updated every single hour. Hope you got the point here.

Google like the updated content over anything.

How do you write 2k+ article for long-tail keyword (20-30 month search volume)? :-)

Did you do without backlinks? Your articles have been written for high comp keywords?

I had backlinks for some of the keywords I ranked for and some of the keywords I ranked for I did not have backlinks. Once I added quality backlinks, my rankings rose. Once I reached a comfortable level like page 1, I just left the page alone and monitored it.

Yes, it is possible. if you provide quality content including Keywords automatically traffic will come but if you want to be top on SERP backlinks are mandatory

Mine 2k+ was not targeting low competition keywords actually. Those were high comp keywords and used to have enough information available.

But with low comp. keywords I would suggest you can do 2k+ words by including great lists. If its about products or services.

I`m not talking about low keywords in amazon niches, only informative intense. I think you have high quality content with 2000+ words, written by native writers. That is why you have traffic.

No matter how many keywords, really matter how useful this content is for end user.
Many times I saw long "essays" without any value.

Cheers, Greg.

You think it is possible to bring value to an article which was written by non native writer.

Sure, I have bunch of sites which are poor written with tiny text - all of them is in 100K Alexa Ranking.
It's because such sites have value to end user.

Now, let's think how many your sites with 2K words are in 100K Alexa Ranking.
Myth about 2K words needed was created by Brian Dean.

Cheers, Greg.
