Does anyone here trade with prop firms for a living?

If so, since when have you been doing it?

Lots of these prop firms are with bad brokers who offer them whitelabel solutions.

Eightcap is one such broker.

What this means is that the prop firms can adjust the settings from their backend (due to the whitelabel solution) so they can control the slippage and spreads and whatnot.

If you look at Twitter then the prop firms be giving out hundreds of free accounts on a weekly basis or with 90% discount.. how is something like this possible? Only because the outcome is controlled and they will fail all those free accounts on purpose.

Also, all these prop firms give out "marketing accounts" to influencers.

This means that they give out a "show" account where they can display their fake withdrawals for clout etc.. it's just marketing tactics.

I know a thing or two about this subject since I learn trading myself so I have researched everything and I have worked with some prop firms for their ORM.

If you are going to go with one then try to stick with the biggest ones.. FTMO perhaps as all the smaller new ones are 100% rip-offs.

Anybody recommoend any broker/platform which isn’t bent as fook?

What about Vanguard? Fidelity? Interactive?

I have those down as my top three as someone who knows nothing about trading right now.

I would recommend Interactive brokers if thats who you mean. I'm not with them yet, but they look like the best platform, if you compare the platform dashboards in youtube, and they are definitely legit, as they are a traded stock in the US. I got an LEI number recently, so I plan to continue my application later in the week with that, as they ask you for that if you have it. I'm sure with an LEI number, your trading application is bulletproof. :)
