Tracking Phone Call Leads?

Hi BHW,

This is the first time I am asking for any help here.. However, I have found some posts very useful and am sending out my first letters Monday via 7878 method.. I also have a couple people working on following up on the Powered by Yahoo! search method.. This looks to be a gold mine in my city, as well as negative reviews. (I live in a highly populated area, and my city is technologically behind)..

Anyways, I was wondering how I can track how many phone calls are made in a month via people finding my clients site for the targeted keywords.. These are very direct keywords, all with under 1000 searches a month, but I need to prove that my clients phone is ringing more, and it's coming from the website.. (Currently optimizing sites) I need to get this piece of technology ready.

Any suggestions?

Can you set each site up with it's own google voice number? Then you forward the number to the business, log-in and check the amount of calls received.

Ah did not know about this.

I will look into it and pitch it to the client.
