You don't need to register on kickass, you're using the wrong links.

There are sites set up to look like kickass but direct you to a cpa offer.

I wouldn't use public tracker if I were you. You can't really tell which file is infected and which is clean. Hopefully mods won't see this as off-topic, but I would suggest anyone who's using a public tracker to get into a private one. These are clean torrent trackers and chances of getting infected files are thin.

If you're just starting out you may find it a bit difficult to find your way into a private tracker, but once you become a member you will find the gateway to other private trackers with ease. I've been a member of multiple private trackers and believe me it's much better out there. Just my two cents!
