Without having able to access BHW via Tapatalk I have been spending way less time here than usual. It is just that I prefer browsing the forum via Tapatalk to computer because of the quick and easy navigation.
Seeing that a new application was released I quickly downloaded it hoping that it would be like Tapatalk. Unfortunately, Topify is very laggy, the scrolling is just terrible and navigating through the forums is inconvenient.
With Tapatalk it is so easy to navigate and read the forums and, in my opinion, it is the best forum application on the market. Sorry, Topify doesn't stand a chance against Tapatalk.
Keep in mind I am using a high end device (Nexus 4) and if an app lags like that, it a big no from me!

I just upgraded my android OS just for this app and I have to say that I'm disappointed.
Very slow
Not intuitive
Changing page is a nightmare
So ok the layout looks good but with the app barely doing what I want I think i will use bhw in my mobile browser. I miss tapatalk right now.

Damien, just out of interest, what was wrong with tapatalk?
i don't know how everyone else is finding topify, but I can't use it - it's too slow, and gets stuck sometimes and won't go into threads.
is this a permanent replacement? If so are there variables in its performance, and is it Lilly to improve?

We are pushing some major changes through to production today that should address the issues with the S2 and S3.

Ok, I'll be as constructive as possible.
The app is slow. There are no two ways about it. I'm using the S3, so I know it's not my hardware.
I don't receive push notifications, even though they have been enabled.
There is no way that I can find to "Thank" or "Rep" a post.
I don't like the slider at the bottom of the screen when viewing a thread. It feels obstructive and I would prefer for it to appear when I press my menu button, which as far as I can see, does nothing right now.
I don't know how to clear all my notifications other than viewing them one by one. That would take me years with my fat fingers.
I do like that there is a "Who's is online" section in the menu.
I also like the search bar although it feels a bit simple; I can't find an advanced search feature anywhere.
This is all from briefly using the app, I'm sure there are other things so I'll add them later. Overall I still prefer Tapatalk and I'm a bit sore having purchased it not two months ago.

Thanks for the feedback Treeofl1. I will make note of your suggestions and discuss them with the Dev team, I know some of these have been on our punch list already.
FYI - We did release version 1.1 yesterday which does address some of the issues with the S3. Let me know what you think.
With regards to clearing the notification globally you can follow these steps to clear them:
1. open the slide out menu
2. click on the yellow notification number/fold out
3. then you can click the check box for each forum to "mark all as read" per forum

Noted, we are working on a user CP that will have a lot more options (color themes, signature, etc..). I added the ability to turn of avatars to the list of possible options however that is a few weeks out.
