Top Keyword competitor is Amazon

hi i'm not new in here but this is my first question ever i hope i will find the help i need , as i always find it in this great community ,

i'm doing my first keyword research , on google first page most of the link is from amazon .com facebook .com alibaba .com and pinterest .com ...
is this good ? do you think i can rank for a keyword like that with a new domain ?

Do not worry about having Amazon as your competitor, most of the time they are easy to outrank.

These huge authority website can be hard to outrank but not impossible.

It will take time to do it with brand new website though as it is sand-boxed.
