ToP 100 Worst Mistakes Blackhatters Make

i dont believe this too. too complex to compute :)

if you're getting 1k UVs a day from google, its quite unbelievable for google to trace and map out your backlinking pattern.

But if your getting 100k UVs daily from google alone, with an authority site, and google suspect something is up, I bet their employees will even do a background check on you, do a search on your first and last name in their database, and try to find each and every google/gmail account you ever had.(cookies tell a lot). From your webhistory, they can even trace each and every person who has search characteristics like you.

PS- Don't forget your webhistory on google records. Searching for "BHW", "paid backlinks", PTC sites, click rings(other than for research purposes) can get you canned pretty bad.

Check google's terms and conditions. Even if the terms forbids them from doing it, there are "greyhat" google employees who love their job, and would go out of their way in their research and monitoring.

The real reason why you're kicked out from the search engine would not appear in their records, just a watered down "professional looking", and vague reason. Google is not accountable to changes they make in their search engine, except if the $$ and users leave..

Do you have any proof of what you just posted? Even anything that LOOKS like proof?

I search for all blackhat keywords all day long. I never clear my cookies. I use adsense, I use google webmaster tools, I use Google Analytics, and I use Gmail. I have multiple Adwords and YouTube accounts that I use on the same PC.

I have never had any problems with Google.

Do any of you guys really think your SEO and Backlink strategies are so Elite that Google needs to look so far into it to get that information? They don't need to read your emails or track your searches or cookies. They just need to pull all of your backlinks and look at your websites code which is all publicly available legally and look for the obvious things.

I have friends in compliance departments of a few multinationals, and people in Law enforcement. They trace down criminals and fraudsters in a more blunt way than what the law allows them to, but this research doesn't show up in records.

I'm not working in google's headquarters, so I don't really know what goes on in there. I have not even a tiny bit of evidence.

Perhaps what you're doing is not significant enough for a manual review of your accounts.

You can test if you have the time and resources. Open a adsense account with a complete new identity. Direct only whitehat traffic to that account. Make at least $100 per day on your account. See if google pays you 100% in space of a year. and oh yeah, give consent for google to record your search history, and pay an indian $0.2 an hour to search "click fraud", "click rings", "paid to click", "how to cheat adsense", etc 24 hours a day.

A decent blackhatter would have cleared all evidence on site and off site, and will have a back linking pattern which appears natural(if he indeed gets 100k visitors daily from google).

Just for the record, in some cases where I give thanks, I 'm doing it because i appreciate your input, not necessarily because I whole-heartedly agree with your comment.

Well I guess this comment didn't sit well with a mod. I think because of my profuse use of the thanks button, it has been removed as an option for me. I don't know if it is only for today or a few days, or what. I read the forum rules and there is not so much as a warning about excessive use of the thanks button so I am a bit mystified as to why there is no longer a thanks button for me to hit (on any thread, not just this one).

Well, I guess I'll be posting without the ability to thank anyone for the foreseeable future. My first ban at BHW is against using the thanks button so another mistake that can be listed here is:

Never over-use the "thanks" button (which most people won't have to worry about)

I think I'll protest this action by never using it again even if it is restored. Besides, I would hate to feel like I'm being monitored. Hope everyone will understand.

You act like making $100 per day on Adsense is an easy thing to do. Reality check: It isn't. If people are making $100 per day from Adsense with legitimate search engine traffic, and their website is in compliance with the the TOS, their SEO strategy won't matter. Google is getting paid, Webmasters are getting qualified leads. Google doesn't care then.

You are acting like there is some special number, that once you hit it, your site is done for. Can you show me evidence of ANY site which was getting 100k visitors daily from Google using blackhat SEO techniques that got banned or kicked from Google? I am not talking about illegal techniques like hacking other websites for their link juice, just blackhat SEO.

The only website I can think of was JC Penny, and they were caught due to a review of their backlinking strategy, which you say they wouldn't be able to be caught for. Newsflash: JC Penny was outsourcing their SEO to a separate company. So for them to catch JC Penny, they wouldn't have any other way to catch them except for information that was public available.

Find me any examples of websites which were banned because of the ways you suggested. I will look at their backlink strategy and their website code and tell you the REAL reasons they got caught, and I can promise it has nothing to do with searching for blackhatworld or receiving naughty emails.

This is just getting ridiculous that some of you guys believe these things.

For Google to do a manual review of your website, someone has to report you and provide the reasons why they believe you are gaming the search results. That person usually provides Google with all the places they need to look to find evidence.

It happens sometimes that the thanks button is removed, but I don't think it is to do with the mods. I think the forum itself has a limit. I reach it all the time and am unable to leave thanks for a few hours. Or else it is just a glitch of some sorts.

New worst mistakes: Blaming the mods without any proof.

Well I'm glad to hear that, and that's a good new worst mistake.

Scratch that comment about protest

Thanks Kickflip

You did not just bring 9/11 into this, did you? What is wrong with you? You ignored every question I asked and just spouted more of your conspiracy theories. Have some respect.

Making misleading titles like 'ToP 100 Worst Mistakes Blackhatters Make' and only producing a list of 10. :D

Haha, this one is good :D

1. Targeting a Highly searched but though keyword for your first website
2. Confusing CPC competition with Seo Competition in Google keywords tool
3. Don't knowing that a ranked 1 website gets ONLY between 40-50 % of the CLICKS.

Putting Adsense ads below the fold.
Failure to make ,keep, and follow a written plan of action

I know there are many more errors and mistakes blackhatters make but only the more experienced members will really know the not-so-obvious ones

mistake #55: arguing on the internet instead of making money

Whether you can find evidence that they are conclusively analyzing your gmail account or other Google accounts is irrelevant. The question: is it worth the risk? the answer is no, b/c there are plenty of other email accounts you could use, so why risk it?

Also, and this is completely aside and doesn't ruin my previous argument, there IS conclusive evidence that google analyzes what your emails on gmail are about - they do so to market ads to you. They know with a very high degree of certainty what your emails are about. So certain topics certainly could trip some sort of filter.

Why take the risk?

Should that make the top 100 mistakes list? No. Because it really isn't a confirmed risk. Different issue. Perhaps "Taking risks one does not need to take" could make the top 100 mistake list, for any subject actually.
