- Clicking your own Adsense ads
- Secretly asking your friends or site visitors to click your adsense ads
- Snitching on a fellow blackhatter to improve your SERP ranking
- Doing huge scrapebox and Xrumer blasts to your one-week old money site
- Receiving your paid links reports at your gmail address
- Doing business with a Sh*t List celebrity.
- Not reading BHW rules
- Failure to use the "Search" button
- Whining about methods that don't work instead working those that do
- Faking earnings to get respect from other blackhatters
This list is as much for me as for anyone else. I would like a list of at least 100 because it's easier to remember what not to do than the other way around.
- Not varying your anchor text
- Creating too many links of the same kind (ie: just comments, just profile links, etc..)
- Not making any nofollow links
- Not making any links containing your brand name...and
- Not establishing your website as a brand
The #1 Biggest mistake Blackhatters make: Assuming they know more than they really do.
- Clicking your own adsense ads? Sounds like easy money to me. Just don't do it often, don't do it at home unless its from your VPS or something, and make sure its the highest paying ad you can show.
- Asking your friend or site visitors to click secretly? Well hell that is even easier money than #1 because you can get like 10X more money.
- Snitching on a fellow Blackhatter? Some blackhatters are not friendly fellows and deserve to be crushed. Some are just trying to survive. Some would sell their grandma for a PR5 d0follow backlink. Screw those guys.
- Huge scrapebox blasts to a new site? Best way to get indexed and get a quick rise to the top of the search engine rankings. I do this EVERYTIME I create a new site and Google always seems to love it.
- Gmail is a pretty reliable email service, so I can't really see any other email which would be better for receiving your backlinks reports to.
- Business with a sh*tlist celebrity? Not sure what that is support to mean. You mean don't get scammed? Well, I guess getting scammed is something to avoid. Do people purposely go out and get scammed? Is that really a top mistake blackhatters make?
- Not reading BHW rules: BHW rules are basically common sense. You could survive without reading the rules if you use common sense, and I think that only applies to members of BHW who post, which I can tell you is very few compared to the number of people who don't.
- The search button has nothing to do with blackhatting itself, but rather the BHW forum. Since Google indexes BHW posts, you can simply use Google as an alternative to the BHW search function.
Moving on to the next list....
1) Not varying Anchor Text is a good way to let Google know you mean business. If they see many different anchor texts, they may get the wrong idea that you aren't serious about that 1 major keyword. My link building strategy is fully locked on 1 anchor text for the last 6 months.
2) Creating many link of 1 kind is usually the easiest and quickest way to do it because you will get comfortable, allowing you to build more links than if you vary your strategy, especially if you are making contextual links. Nothing wrong with a billion contextual links with correct anchor text.
3) Not making any no follow links again lets Google know you are not screwing around here. If you look at many of the HIGH HIGH competitive terms top 10 lists in the SEO niche, you will see that 90%+ backlinks are d0follow, and the no follow ones are created by people other than themselves.
4) Branding your website seems like a smart idea, but when you are a blackhatter, you must remember that your site could be sent to the shitter in the blink of an eye and you must be ready to move your site and re-open under a new name as soon as possible. If your site is quality, the brand will build itself.
