I'm also a fan of BitDefender Total Security. Well, they're from Romania too, which is a plus :D

using ESET NOD32 for 10+ years now, never had a single problem

+1 for nod32 using it for last 5 years after having bad experience with mcafee

microsoft security essential is it installed on my Windows 8? I just got a new laptop so this is why I'm asking I'm upgrading from XP I know I know lol

I will use AVG, Compare to other antivirus software AVG is little bit faster.

I use non of them. Just use ccleaner when i call it a day. Why let antivirus eat my RAM when i know exactly wat i m doin ;)

Actually now i do not use any kind of antivirus. Because i see many antivirus spread his own virus in computer and hang it. But i did use Avast in before.

Windows 8.1 Defender working best for me. I am not using any other additional antivirus. My PC is totally Virus/spyware Free.:)

You don't really need an anti-virus program unless you're downloading sketchy files. Occasionally running Malware Bytes and a light weight a/v like MSE is good enough.

I found Avast as best anti-virus and easy to use with user friendly interface. The best part this anti-virus is that is does not take much of resources and doesn't slows the performance as well. They also provide free 30 days trial which is really best and can help to get many malware getting cleared.
