Which one do you prefer and using I was using AVAST till I found out they were spying on us I removed it today and was thinking which is next best software to go with antivirus or malware.

I use the same combination.

I just read up on "avast spying". Never knew such a thing existed. But the good thing is, i never enabled their browser extension so it probably didn't affect me.

And why do you need a top 10 list? If you want top 10s, search google. I mean it's unlikely someone here has first hand experience with 10 different anti viruses. Just saying. :)

I have used bitdefender, eset, norton and kaspersky and I am pretty satisfied with Kaspersky Antivirus.

I use to use Bitdefender which was the best IMO but right now I am using AVG.

I like BitDefender, but their products became paranoid recently.

BitDefender all the way, it's the best AV there, but you have to be careful how you navigate the Internet, and what sites you go to. They can automatically make a FUD trojan or malware and you'll get burned, no matter if you have the best AV in the world and if it's up to date with the latest viruses, trojans, etc...

Be careful what sites you visit and what you download.

+1 for bitdefender, I'm using since 6 months and It is best. Go a head with bitdefender

Regards

I'm using NOD32 antivirus(not the security suite) plus Malwarebytes Pro as it has real-time protection, which is a good complement for the antivirus.

I suggest Avira for free version and Kaspersky for paid version

Eset NOD32 AV. Works good. I've been using it 8 years now, never changed.

I run Eset Smart 7 + Malware Bytes + Zemana Anti keylogger

if you are using windows... dont install any antivirus just go with the microsoft security essential...

Former Avast user here. Switched to Bitdefender + Malwarebytes + PrivateFirewall.
