Any free tool or cheap tool to check all backlinks linking to a site? Something like majesticseo? Majesticseo is too expensive for me and I seldom use it, hence I am looking for alternative tool. Thanks.

"smallseotools.com/backlink-checker/" this is also a good tool to check backlinks. You can also download "SEO SPY Glass" to check backlinks, but these free tools can only provide you the information of top 1000 links.

maybe you just Google "backlink checker free" and you'll get some nice result

BackLinkWatch is very oldest, it has good popularity, you can be able to check backlinks of deeplinks as well.

A href, majestic SEO, these would be more helpful if you go for paid version.

With 'backlinkwatch' you can check the backlinks as well as analyze the backlinks. I always use checkpagerank.net to check backlinks, you can also find number of Referring Domains, backlinks from .gov sites and .edu sites.

I use most of the above, throw them into an excel sheet and there we have it - a combined list which can be filtered to my preferences.

There are lots of available online tool that you can use to check backlinks . Ahrefs is pretty much the standard tool for checking backlinks. You can also use Majestic SEO free if you are analyzing your own website. Personally I like Majestic tool as it allows me to check new and lost links, anchor text, redirects, do follow vs no follow, and much more.
