I don't think it would make a difference. They need to sort out the reactions channels first then things would change.

I think whether it makes YouTube "better" really depends on what aspects you're focusing on. Some changes might be great for creators potentially improving their reach or revenue. However other tweaks could impact the viewer experience.

I don't think reaction videos are affected. At least not the original ones, who show their face and add commentary. Those who just create a compilation of reaction clips are definitely getting nuked.

YouTube could really improve things by just being more clear about what kind of AI content is okay and what’s not. Let people be upfront about using AI without instantly punishing them for it, and give creators a simple way to appeal if their video gets flagged.

Actually, it's really better for the audience. Creators would need to exert more effort, but that could make a really good competition.
