Standard Chartered works fine.

Second Option is Bank Alfalah. But they have card activation fees. Why don't you go with Standard Chartered? Their online banking is great. I hardly go to branch. You can transfer up to 250k from online banking to banks near you, in case you need cash.

Their atm works every where. 1-ATM and Mnet

Because they will give you $ rate at 90 if it is 95 lol. So Open $ account as well as you will have the PKR.

I'm using ATM $ account and its working best because you can exchange amount at higher price.
 
Also DO NOT use Credit Card of any bank in case you HAVE money. The money exchange rates are ridiculous. I did payments of 5000$ for my hosting and ended up paying 25000 more just because of shitty exchange rate. They were charging dollar at 99.7 RS
 
SC is best option,
i don't know why some people are voting for UBL,
UBL really really sucks,
Most of the time their atm's are facing downtime..
i had a account there in UBL and they put wrong name, and the transactions kept on going..
Until one day a lady was just surprised to note that my acc name and ID card name were not matching and she was afraid to do transaction any further, just like her pants went laka po po..
UBL sucks , F*&k you UBL

Can you suggest me some good bank. I am going to receive a check of $410. Can you tell me which bank will be good for it and also which bank is offering a better exchange rate.

i want to create a new paypal account in pakistan but dont know which method to choose?
1.create a accnt on some international relative name and verified by them but can i use it to login from pakistan or i need a proxy?
2.use a proxy/vpn ?

You can contact secondeye in services section... He sell legit paypal accounts and he is a great guy.... also from pakistan...

No worries dude.. just open an account in USD and then cash it.. You can exchange it from wallstreet or somewhere else with recent currency rates..
I'm using Bank-Al-Habib USD account... they charge about $7 for one check and my account is deposited in about 21 days...

Standard chartered bank supports online and international banking without any extra charges...VISA card is also available for making international transactions. Beside this, its the best bank in Pakistan for its policies and services.

i use SC but few website didn't accept it like adwords
so i use entropay.com its works like a charm for me

open USD in Bankislami they only Charge 2.5$ for complete CB Check Process :) cheapest in Pakistan ubl Charge Aroung 10$ and Standard Chartered worst 15$ or Plus
