TLD/Hosting Question

I have started an ORM project for a client and I have set up an EMD for the client's name (http://www.johndoe.info). This site has three pages showing up on the first page of the SERP for a search for my clients name. I also purchased http://www.johndoe.xyz. Both sites were purchased via GoDaddy. I have the .info site hosted at GoDaddy-my question is will hosting the .xyz site at GoDaddy be a red flag for Google? Should I use hostgator, bluehost, etcm instead?

Any input will be appreciated.

It's not a PBN so I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, it will just look like a client is getting their ducks in a row.

I've got a client who has a .com, .net, .org, .info, .co, and .us for their firstnamelastname all ranking in the first two pages.

Yeah I dont see any problem with this. Its only when you start running a large network that this REALLY becomes a problem.

PS: You are not completely paranoid. Google IS a registrar; meaning they can see behind whois protection.

And all of those TLDs are hosted by the same provider?

I always host domains for the same client on different hosting accounts. I never put the same client on the same hosting package. I make sure there are different nameservers, IP, and private registration.

Anytime I'm targeting the same keyword, I use different hosting accounts. Sometimes I might have a few different sites on the same hosting account, but they're always unrelated to each other.

Hostgator is the easiest for me to use so I have a lot of accounts with them. Namecheap is a little more limited, I've tried SiteGround, BlueHost and a couple others. For shared hosting, I still like Hostgator. I make sure to buy new accounts with at least a few days between purchases so they go onto different servers (different NS and IP). If you buy them all in the same day you might get multiple accounts on the same server.

For primary site hosting, I just moved to Kinsta and it's been very fast.
