I have been making all my titles and h1 tags nothing but my keywords for the most seo value.. will this ever get looked at as "wrong" or "spam" by search engines.

    Example:

    - Keyword: Bob is Fat

    - Title: Bob is Fat

    - H1 Tag: Bob is Fat

Not really, but could be considered as duplication.
You should put more detail for H1 since it will be displayed in many search engine.

    Try:

Title "bob is fat - discover why bob is fat?"
    H1 "Bob is fat"

    etc

    just mix it

Use a few LSI keywords in the H1 tag. You can find these by opening the adwords keyword tool, entering your targeted keyword and by looking an what alternative keywords google returns for you.

Bob is fat - Discover why bob is fat

Duplicate 1 Keyword in your title will make you a spammer in google eyes, it's not good for long term.

Look on google and download Internet Business Promoter it will analyze your website and tell you how many duplicate keywords you have and how many you should have

Dude, do your keyword research then decide which keywords you can rank for pertaining to your site's topic then use them in the title exactly as they were when you found them.

Then you need to use them again within your description, <H1> tags, your keywords container as well as sprinkled lightly throughout your on page content.

This will yield the best results, don't worry about duplicates and all that crap. You'll be fine.

Does the H1 tag have to be so large? Can I resize the font and still have it recognized as my H1?

Title should be ideally around 65 characters.

Description meta tag should be ideally 250 characters

Title and description should be very different and description should describe what that webpage is all about.

H1 tag should be your no. 1 target keyword with some qualifying words.

You have to be very careful about all these and think well as onpage seo has more importance than backlinks as your webpage is your main property.

Not really, in fact i would recommend you using that way. But it is always better to stick with some extra words because your not absolute sure user query would be the exact keyword phrase "Bob is Fat". Try something like "Bob is Fatter than me"

Title and H1, H2, H3 all tags are important and you must decide well before putting them online.

If after sometime you are not satisfied with your title tag, you may change it to optimize for other keyword also but don't change it too often, once or twice is ok.
