I think at this point it is less than 10% they recover them alive.

Imagine if they got stuck in the wreckage, thinking how they will be slowly dying among the hundreds around them that died 111 years ago. I do not think people really can fathom the terror these people would be going through in such a scenario.

It's an estimate based on my understanding of the situation, mostly because even if they find the XBox vehicle on time, which by itself is unlikely, there has never been an operation to tow something that big from such depth.
 
Lets all just hope it all goes well and that they then learn from their mistakes. I hate it when social media people start throwing bunch of theories about something that they know nothing about. I swear these situations really just reveal the real faces of some people, like those who are saying "ohhh throw some more billionaires in there". Just disgusting.

To put that into perspective, James Cameron went almost three times deeper than they did years ago and was even able to call his wife from the seabed and came back safe and sound. Whole operation just seems like a big joke. Really unfortunate that this was allowed and that people were willing to throw hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars at them too.

I also think they're gone. Some have speculated that they'd have imploded instantly on day 1.

I was reading some news and saw some posts saying they imploded, then all of a sudden one large media said they heard noises (bullshit) then it became a clickbait party with all these news outlets reporting fake news on noises and survivability

There are also some carzy alternative theories

One person said they didn't even board the sub, they're all in some island somewhere throwing a party. I hope so.

Game controllers control a lot of military techs, so why re-invent the wheel when Microsoft already paid millions to research the perfect one :D

I agree. But, it is a different story when you are in the vehicle yourself, versus controlling a gun or something with a controller
