Tips to Get More Bids on Flippa?

This is a fascinating game to play... Some holes to fall into here and there! Lessons to learn! Remember to focus on VALUE! :)

Just a quick warning: Flippa are nowadays EXTREMELY careful when it comes to shill bidding and unless you're very, very lucky (or alternatively have a fantastic setup, which in most cases isn't worth the hassle) they'll catch you, your account will be banned and no fees refunded.

These are words to keep in mind even for those with some experience in various black hat techniques. I looked through Flippa's terms of service and they indeed have plenty of measures in place against this kind of thing. For instance, more than one account from the same IP address carries high chances of raising suspicions from the admins. Flippa also has a policy against canceling listings and then trying to make private sales of the same site to a buyer that the seller met through Flippa. While some sellers might see this as an unfair hassle, it is part of the service's fair use terms.

One thing, that will always and I mean always increases your bids is a report on earnings. Even if the earnings were refunded or reinvested, it doesn't matter. Earnings show liquidity and traction. Bidders go crazy over that. I'm dead serious. An ecommerce site with $1 earnings gets 5X more attention that one with $0.

Just posted my first auctions. will report back with results.
