make a second account.
Wait till your website goes into the ending soon section, less than 4 hours. Now, your website will be featured on the ending soon section of flippa homepage, probably page 3-4.
Wait till there are about 20-30 minutes left on the auction. Now your website will be featured on the ending soon section of flippa, probably in the first 4-5 results. A lot of eye balls you get there, try to keep it there as much as possible without letting the auction end.
Before the auction is ending - 10-15 minutes, place a bid with the second account below the reserve price. So that you are sure that you will not win it. The clock resets to 4 hours.
Wait another 4 hours, again you will be featured in the ending soon section on flippa homepage. Wait again till you have 10-15 minutes left on the auction, so that you are placed in the ending soon section within the first 4-5 results. Again plenty of eyeballs there.
Before the auction ends, bid with the second account again. Make sure you stay below reserve price. The clock resets for another 4 hours.
Do this for 1-2 days. If you do not get normal bids even when you are featured that much in the ending soon section, your website is not interesting for potentially flippa buyers.
When you have about 4 hours left, you can also do a featured section.
Alternatively, you could do a fake bidding war, that would list you in the flippa most active section, but you should have planned that from the beginning of the auction.
Talking from experience, i had to use flippa these days, and was forced to put my blackhat hat on.
Good luck.
It would be smart to use proxies. Try a vpn (virtual private network)Hi, just wondering, do you need proxys to do that? Can't flippa ban me because of that?
Thanks!
Just a quick warning: Flippa are nowadays EXTREMELY careful when it comes to shill bidding and unless you're very, very lucky (or alternatively have a fantastic setup, which in most cases isn't worth the hassle) they'll catch you, your account will be banned and no fees refunded.

1) Start the auction at a lower price (set a reserve).
2) Get good copy for your site (hire a copywriter).
3) Get external traffic to your auction.
The copy one is a big one. If you can convince the reader to buy it, it means that you've written your copy well.
I agree. Also do not accept every bid right away. Accept 1 or 2, then leave the rest pending for like a day or so. when you have a good number of pending bids, accept them all and this will land you on the "most active" list.
This is easier when you have a low starting price.
To increase or get bidders on flippa you should do this-
*Use "Feature Listing"($29)
I believe that sites are best sold on the weekdays, I have run a few test about this and I received more watchers, and more bidders on the weekdays.
Also, yeah many people are off work on the Weekends, but how many people can just jump on their smart phone now a days and place a bid. I also believe if your site is generating revenue or good traffic, then it will sale no matter what.
Try out different methods, and see what one you believe is better. For me I don't like transferring sites on the weekend. That is my time to relax and chill, so the weekdays are better for me.
To maximize profits — don't use flippa.
Flippa is low-money. Repackage your site as a "Turnkey Hands-Free Business" with a residual income for xyz$ per month. Sell it for 10-12 months projected income and list it on bizbuysell or the likes.
If you change the frame from selling a website to selling a business — you'll know that people expect to pay thousands, even millions for a business. A website... well those go for a few hundred bucks.
I had a question. If I list a site in Flippa and suppose my account gets banned for shill bidding. Can I re list the site with another account?
