Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble finding a database of business emails.

I've tried onlines directories (too much SEO and fake emails)

Hunter.io (poor quality emails)

Also, I don't want to buy a database, as these contacts are likely to be fake or poor quality because they may not be my target audience.

How can I get contacts for email marketing?

I built a landing page, then I built a site, and captured users who want to register to the site. Thats the best way, you're own custom opt in list.

yeah, i can see do that for b2c but for b2b i cant see

Because for b2c i can make organic content and traffic them to the newsletter so i can get their email.

How can I get contacts for email mareting?
Well Last year I have purchased some emails for marketing from and online portal like fiver, to be honest the emails were fake and the bounce rate was huge.. still if you want you can check some real vendors

Thanks
Sam

Outscraper would be my recommendation. I've set up my Openclaw to scrape for me though, it's working well.

Don't buy email databases; they're usually worthless.

You can use email scraping tools like Apify or any other (there are many).

You can also hire a VA to create your database manually. Here at BHW, for example, you have options to hire reputable VAs at good prices, either from people who have their own sales thread or you can create your own thread in the Hire a Freelance section.

you also can create your own list with ads or content focus in B2B.

You'll always need to verify emails with a tool to avoid bounces.

Instead of looking for a ready-made database, it might help to focus on making your own specific list. Instead of scraping or utilizing generic technologies, think about explicitly identifying your ideal audience and employing value-driven lead magnets or partnerships to get in touch with the right people. This will make your list more useful, responsive, and in line with your marketing goals.

Instead of buying lists, focus on building your own:

Scrape from your niche’s websites or directories manually

Use tools like LinkedIn + Sales Navigator for verified prospects

Capture emails via content offers, lead magnets, or newsletter sign-ups

Verify with an email validation tool before outreach

That way, contacts are relevant and engaged, not random.

got the same issue .. even u get the good database the leads it slef are trash or irrelavant

Most public databases are outdated fast. Better scrape fresh data from real sources and then verify emails before sending.

Quality beats big list every time.

Instead of buying generic DBs, build small, targeted lists and run them through verification before sending emails

Buying databases is a waste, been there done that. Bounce rates will kill your domain.

What actually worked for me for B2B:
  1. Get hyper-specific on who you're targeting first — industry, job title, company size. "Ecommerce" is too broad, think "DTC fashion brands $5-50M revenue" type specific.
  2. Scrape emails from social profiles — decision makers usually have their email in their IG/LinkedIn/FB bios.
  3. Always verify before sending. One bad list and your domain is toast.
200 targeted leads > 5,000 random contacts. Every time.
