i own the domain name: shakelightly

I think it could be a great site for an energy drink company or any company which has the label "shake lightly" on the back of their drinks or even bags of salad or prepared food.

Anyone know how I can go about selling this for what I believe is a reasonable price. Afternic quoted me a price of $50,000 but said if I purchase an appraisal, it could be worth 10x that amount.

Just looking for help on trying to get the most out of this domain name.

If someone is going to pay you $50,000 for that take it and run...

I honestly don't see it to be a valuable marketing tool for any company..."shake lightly"....

you could not pay me enough to take that domain. run with the 50k. or sell it to the "appraiser" for 40k and run like mad. It is worth nothing
 
I would guess that it isn't worth any more than the registration fee....$10

Sounds like they just want you to purchase an appraisal - honestly it's not worth more than the reg fee as a name like that. You can go register all the other extensions for it - if it were worth something as a name then those would be gone as well.
 
As everyone else has mentioned, it's worthless.

Valuations from companies who won't then buy/broker your domain/website are completely worthless. All they want to sell you is a full "valuation" - which are usually grossly inflated, I am assuming to stop people getting refunds when they are told their domain is worthless.
 
$50k?! That was an amazing price for your website. Sell it then, you can even sell it for 30k!
 
If you can actually get 50k for shake lightly I would take it and run. But I doubt you are actually going to get that for that domain. Are using the domain for anything or is it domain only?

I personally don't know what you would use such a domain for, maybe protein shakes but thats all I can think of.
 
I just cannot see you getting anything for that domain, If you get any offers like everyone else has said take it and run!
 
What makes a domain have value?

obviously ones like apple.com and shit is worth money but are their any like 'shakelightly' that is worth money?
