Before you post the e-books for sale, you need to do some ground work and spend the time to do this. Most people who fail tried to skip these essential steps and then didn't know what happened when their sale was unsuccessful. So, here' I'll tell you about WF, mostly because I don't know about DP and I hear that they are a rough bunch. You need to have been a contributing member in the forum for several months in order to have a successful sale. That's key number 1. Don't try to spam the forum or give 4 word "that was great stuff" posts and think that you're going to get away with it. Use these few months on the WF to actually study that niche. It's a unique bunch, and the money is being spent there, HOWEVER, the majority of the successful sales are not new sellers or flash in the pan new members. You need to understand how the forum works, and you need credibility. Take your time, your future sales numbers will thank you. Once you've figured out how the forum works, watch the older members and follow their posts. Don't stalk or pm them, just watch and learn. Then make sure that you subscribe to posts that are similar to your subject in your e-reports. Post replies, but don't be smarmy--consider not using a sig link, because after all, you're building credibility, not selling stuff. While you're at it, go to the profile page and write stuff about yourself because a bunch of warriors will want to click your profile button so give them something to read. When the time comes, consider posting a request for help -- like are you interested in X subject, what can I do to make it better, how much would you pay for this kind of report, etc. THEN Listen to what your market is telling you. THEN give out 3 copies for testimonials to whoever answers the thread. ALSO ask some of the old-time members that have been doing this for years to consider giving you a review. This can be great if you can find a member willing to give a review, and it can be awful if you wanted the review to help you but they honestly think that the product is crap and have posted about it publicly. Your last step should be to get one of the "how to post a WSO on the WF" e books. There are 2 or 3 excellent ones, and they cost money. Research them on the forum, and ask for recommendations in a thread. Don't be afraid to spend money on this as a properly executed WSO will be very profitable. Last, while on the WF, don't get too worked up about your post count and the almighty 'thanks' button. Good luck.
