Tips for ranking a one page website?

Hi guys!

So till now I have worked on the content and SEO aspect of blog sites. But I created a one page website today as a side project on Generatepress (as @RoiBox suggested in this thread). I am planning to try selling a comprehensive EBook with this site. I have listed out the outline of the EBook on this page with a bunch of FAQs from some question based keywords that I got from Ahrefs.

My question is has anyone of you ranked such single page websites before and if so, do you have some tips? Will prefer something out of the box. (The domain I managed to secure is quite great and it also happens to be fresh.)

Again this is a side project with which I wish to experiment a bit and if perhaps extract a case study out of it as well.

I wouldn’t ever invest in a one page website, too difficult to rank.

You have to really know what to do to rank one page websites (most don’t know) as you need internal links to help push visitor in-depth traffic. It will be delayed growth if you have invested in a new/fresh custom domain because of Sandbox compliments of Google.

There's nothing much to do with the website on-page,
So, you'll have to invest in getting the website into a good authority to rank, you simply need good links

Depending on the price of your ebook, I'd suggest you to go for paid traffic. It's not worth your time and money trying to rank a single page website. Go for social media traffic and native ads.

Alright. This does make sense. Which social media platform do you suggest/ recommend?

That totally depends on your niche. If you're targeting young people - instagram. If your target audience is mostly women - pinterest. For some niches reddit works great and facebook for every possible niche, but you'll need to spend some money first in order to collect data and optimize your ads.

Make your on page, schema markup perfect.
Personally, GP is the best theme I use as it's very well optimized.

Meta ads.
Social media active pages for your website.
Sponsored posts on related Facebook groups.

Use the best parasites YouTube, Review/Feedback platforms, Reddit & Medium to your advantage.
It's the most unpopular and underrated technique most SEO campaigns miss.

You will need some real looking testimonials; video testimonials will be perfect.

You could build a blog on it and post articles on it, just make a very tiny link in the footer for google to see. Build the blog very simple and only have a link to the front page AKA landing page in the menu, show the menu in the "blog" category only.

You need solid links from big publications, some mentions, twitter callouts and also some PR, that always does the trick for ranking one-page websites.
