Tips for quarantine days

Hello doods, hope you all stay safe and healthy!

I'm spending my time learning cooking from the zero levels:p

How you spend these quarantine days? Share your experience and give some useful tips!

Learning to cook; great idea. I can’t cook either but I managed to make fajitas last week; my wife was well impressed.

I’m spending my time exercising - also got the kids into it so they’re making constructive use of the tone as well.

I am mostly studying for IT certifications and trying to read/apply the knowledge freely available here. Also been working out daily for a change. It's nice.

Corona has not really changed much except a few visits to eating places or beaches. I am liking the fact there is a lot less pollution, sky looks cleaner, stars look brighter, etc

The quarantine has been a good 'break time' to get some perspective. As in getting around to some actual spring cleaning, instead of the vague plan you've always thought up, but never carried through. We've also had a chance to set up some IM accounts, projects and journeys. When things pick up to normal again, we may even miss this quiet period when we had the extra time to strategize our activity and schedule.

I’m improving my jumping rope skills cause of perfect weather + working on some IM projects, this routine could make really good results in every aspect of my life at these times.

Quarantine has only been good for me quite honestly (fingers crosses this will remain)

It gave me a lot of time to reflect on my life to make important decisions that will determine my future, like going back to University next academic year and to workout again.

  • I quit playing League of Legends for over a month now after playing it for 6 years, sometimes 12 hours a day.
  • I told my Frat president to leave the fraternity, as I was always drunk or high, or gaming (or gaming while drunk and high lol, writing about this makes me even understand more what a shitty-life I was living.) By the way, I'm 21.
  • I cleaned to whole house together with my mother and brothers. From the garage to the attic, from the backyard to the front yard.
  • I learned to play Soduke, lol, I actually enjoy playing it.
My schedule during this quarantine now:
  1. 5am - Non-negotiable wake-up. I don't snooze as I don't want another mediocre 8 mins of sleep, instead, I can live the life of my dreams. I leave my phone with an alarm at the other side of my room with a full glass of water, which I chug to get my body awake.
  2. 5.15am - Eat fruit, drink another glass of water and go for a 30' run or more.
  3. 7am - I've had a run, shower and I've eaten some Oatmeal by now. It's now time for a 1-hour reading. (Currently reading Start With Why - Simon Sinek)
  4. 8am - 10mins of meditation, make a coffee, check BHW & fb messenger (Not Insta or Snap, as I have to stay focused on my self and don't start comparing my life to others.)
  5. 9am - Study mathematics for three hours, because I haven't had math for like three years, and the study that I will attempt in September requires A LOT of knowledge in maths.
  6. By now it's 12.01pm (Not sure if it's 12am or already pm now, so just wrote the extra minute ;) ) - EVERYTHING I had to do for today has been done already, so now it is time to do whatever, like spending time with my family, walking my dogs, reading more on bhw, reading some chapters of the bible, watching youtube or a movie.
"We cannot live better, than in seeking to become better." - Socrates

I want to give specials thanks to @splishsplash. He told me to do a FULL SoMe detox. After doing this for a full week, it changed my mindset for the better. I also became more grateful and I find it weird now seeing my brothers on their phone constantly.

Honestly, this whole quarantine thing is the reason I discovered these forums in the first place. Out of boredom I decided to revive my dead 7 year old youtube channel and post shit again. I figured I hated looking at "No Views" all the time and was thinking about how to get views faster.

Fast forward a couple google searches and I find an article talking about BlackHatWorld and viewbotters. I figured why the hell not let's give this a roll. Apparently it's big business 'round here, so I'll stay awhile and sift through some good ones lmao. Got a few dollars to spend.

Literally nothing changed for me because i am an introvert type of guy who only play games & work IM for 5-6 hours & yeah i was also going gym before pandemic. Now only thing that changed is i cant play games as i got stuck away from home without my laptop. Literally using brother's laptop to work.

Soooooooooooo sad :(

Im taking this time to try and fix my life. I've been listening and started what these motivational guys are saying, pretty cool stuff.

And financially, im just trying to find what I like first then ill try and make money off of it

I have been reading books a lot during this time and I feel why didn't I started earlier.

It's been a lot of the same old. I spend 2 hours reading. I spend 4 hours working on my pages and IM. I watch 1 movie daily, I browse ebay for things I'll buy as soon as quarantine is over. Top of the list is an iPhone 11.
