Is there a way to cheat those time tracking software? The thing will it prevents on getting it logged as idle when no keyboard/mouse strokes. If yes, can you share it to me? Thanks!

I you can tell the name of the software, I'll see if I can come up with a solution to "cheat" it's user activity tracking module.

Most of the major ones don't even look for the obvious shit like AutoIT.

Had VA's try and pull this shit on me recently.

Time Doctor and Timeproof that Onlinejobs.ph has.

I've tried to research it. Was it this site -- autoitscript.com/site/autoit/ ?? Will it work on most time tracking softwares? And oh, did you fire that VA who uses this?

You can use TimeDoctor, for example. If you download desktop version, it will make screenshots. But TD can't make screenshots from the smartphones (but it tracks time as well).

Year ago I was hiring freelancer on Upwork and he was cheating with unknown software, I saw great activity but he do not change code in files, so I send report for his account

can not be done most timming scripts are md5 and salt encrypted and no page access within the codded code for added code/plugins .

128 bit architecture encoded .

also most use the php zend architecture so braking the code so hard as most are already top hackers or top code writters .

hackers = secuity progrsmming in a programming lanuage .

not a cracker = malicious hacker.

You can download a simple non-stop mouse moving program.

Sigh. Yeah, I'm not helping you with this. You're not going to get paid a penny and you're just wasting peoples time. Yes I fired them and I also refused to pay for the tiny bit of work they did actually do. Time wasters tax.

Why do this though? Sooner or later the person hiring you is going to notice you're taking way to long to do the work, realize you're dishonest and not getting the job done. They probably won't even pay you. I wouldn't.

Like SEOMadHatter said, you're just wasting everyone's time, including your own. Lmao, time wasters tax.

Why not put some time into learning how to do something useful and sell your skills / a service? Providing something of value to people will win you positive reviews and repeat customers. Trying to cheat people might work well in the short term, but if you want to get wealthy, you're far better off providing value and being honest.

Good luck dude :)

I am not working, I'm a mere curious george on this. As such I have been thinking about time tracking and stuff like that, seeing that people you do not time track ACTUALLY are productive and finish the tasks right away knowing they can have break time after, COMPARED to those who are bind on time tracking.

And btw, what do u mean time wasters tax? If you are more concern about punching in the time vs having the tasks done right away, by all means keep them on time track.

I'm writing an article about this... and I still don't understand the concept of this. It's not really different if you are in the office. Yeah you are in the office, but what does most workers do? They really binge on lounge and pantry, or if they are in their desks they do something else when they finish their work. How does this even fair for remote workers? Even a short poop break, the software registers it as idle, and then employers will start questioning about where did that 10mins go.

Sigh too...

While silly, it's easier for some people to track time rather than deliverables.

His time is not worth zero. Having to spend time that ends up producing nothing means he has a loss (i.e. a tax).

You need to bitch slap yourself a few hundred times and then rethink. Even if office workers were masturbating instead of working, that has nothing to do with you. You're offering a service with a time commitment and not a deliverable. You chose to do that, so do it. If you don't like it, don't offer to do it. Try to become an office worker and ask for the masturbation schedule.

Capitalising a word does not make inane claims factual. There are plenty of cases where tracking time does make sense. Some roles are just time related, customer service is an obvious example.

Even if it is task related jobs I use tracking software to see how they're performing tasks to improve productivity before eventually switching to just letting them get the job done once I trust them enough.

It doesn't change the fact that if they game the system I'm not paying them a cent.

They waste my time, I waste theirs. If I pay for 40 hours work, you do 10 and have a script move a mouse around I'm not paying you for the 10.

I'm saying you won't get paid if you pull this shit. And even if I did only care about time - that's the job. If you don't want to work on performance pick up contract work. Otherwise, while you convince yourself you're the most productive guy around - you're still getting sacked.

Try to become an office worker and ask for the masturbation schedule.

I want to believe that somewhere there's an office that genuinely has one of these.

If you track the time of your remote workers, then it means they are full time employee.

If they are full time employee, then they should be paid the proper hourly rate of WHERE your business is located at. [Are you paying them the same rate your state mandates you to?]

I see a lot of employers right now have mixed up with this idea... they say they're full time employee, but they are not paid as much as what the employer's state mandated.

And when someone makes a fuss, they will avert the status to "contractor", which falls into different category. [As such, contractors are not paid on the clock, but only responsible of the output/deliverables, no matter if it takes them 10 mins to do the entire job or takes them 12 hrs, thus time tracking should not be implemented.]

Look it all up, even ask a labor/employment lawyers, just in case you think I am making this up.

As to my previous arguments, you cannot track productivity and creativity. So many times, when employer starts tracking their time, their quality of work fades. You think you prove your guts right, when u have hunch of them slacking hours, but it's not really the case; they slack because amidst all the quality works they have done to finish the task properly AND early so they can reward themselves some free time, now you're taking that away from them.

I am saying that based on the interview I personally conducted with remote workers from your favorite outsourcing country. A few of them literally drops the job when they their employer starts tracking them.

And here I see some employers are asking why they just disappear without a reason. LMAO!
