since skype has been dead for some time now maybe it best to get rid of the skype section in your profile page about section?

Time to remove skype from about pages?

Remove old information like Skype to make it easier for folks to get in touch with you through active channels. This minor adjustment can keep your page looking new and professional.

It's set to be removed in the very near future as we're updating the rules (what and where) of outside contact information being posted on the forum. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when this is going to happen, but we're hoping in Q1.
