TikTok Journey

I started TikTok about 6 months ago with a gym/health niche. I was getting no more than 3-4k views per video and that lasted for about 2 months before i decided to switch things up.

I decided to completly change my niche and go with something a bit more fun and completly different, the niche i went with is cartoon theories/edits. The creation process of the videos is much more enjoyable for me and i have managed to go from 700 followers to 260 thousand followers in a matter of 3-4 months (100% organically)

I recently decided to start using more social media platforms like IG, YT & Article posts to expand my audience which has been going great.

I have made about 50 dollars from one brand deal but have had no other luck and am really trying to figure out the best method to monetize now.

Will keep this journey updated weekly/monthly to share what i learn & hopefully get some tips from all you legends.

Yeah, TikTok is difficult to monetize even with a lot of traffic.

On this part of my journey i will tell you exactly what i did to reach the following as i am sure you would all like to know.
As gymtoks had a lot of competition and i had no luck with getting traffic, i wanted to think of a topic everyone likes/relates to and does not have a lot of competition. I thought of doing cartoon theories as everyone watched cartoons growing up and people all over the world relate. I saw that the amount of creators doing it successfully was low, so i thought it would be great. My first theory was the Tom & Jerry are actually best friends theory. This caused a lot of engagement and interest as Tom & Jerry is a classic world wide. The video now stands at 37 million views, i gained over 30-40k followers from that video alone. Once i saw how effective and how interested everyone was around the world, it was rinse and repeat. Finding popular cartoons and cartoon theories (sometimes i made up my own) and making a creative video using my style, i proceeded to get millions of views on many videos and am still going great. I upload every day and consistency is definetly one of the most important factors in my opinion, TikTok wants to know you are capable of uploading high quality content every day! Or atleast stick to your schedule. Yesterday i created my own site george - toons . com, where i will be posting blogs about cartoon theories and also added a business page for companies to take me serious and hopefully hire me for brand deals. I am thinking about also selling cartoon merch on my site if the traffic grows.

Sidenote: everything i have done has been completly organic & i believe that for the long run and for your relationship with TikTok, this is the best way.
Sidenote 2: Make sure you are analyzing your analytics & feedback your audience is giving you, in the end the most important is actually understanding and learning for the future.

Thank you and i have covered about 20-30 different cartoon theories now and i also think of original ones which spark controversy. I also upload some cartoon edits and other cartoon related content to keep my audience on theres toes and hopefully attract different ranges of people interested in cartoons.

Yes definetly is a big factor in my success and also i try to leave my audience with a lot of unanswered questions, encouraging engagement.
