Hi there!
I'm looking for advice on TikTok geolocation and how I can improve my reach. I have been posting regularly for 2 weeks ( 2-3 videos a day) and none of my videos are performing really well. After reviewing my analytics, I realized that even if i'm located in North America, my videos are being pushed mainly to the Netherlands (consistently 75%+ of audience is from the Netherlands, age from 18-24 y/o) which is not my target market. My theory for low engagement was that people were not getting my jokes due to language and cultural barriers, and are not resonating with my content since they are not in the age range I need them to be.
To confirm my theory, I created a short but witty video with inlay text "Why is tiktok pushing my videos to the Netherlands instead of North America" and the results were astounding! The amount of comments validated my theory.
My question is: How do I improve the targeting for my account? (I know it's pretty broad but I'm willing to try anything since I know now that it's not about the quality of my videos, but more about who it's shown to).
Things I've done so far:

Things I've done so far:
- Add geolocation-specific + topic SEO keywords in my captions, and text
- Use the location tag in my videos
- Use location specific hashtags
- Use the promote feature to boost views and put the video in front of the right audience (very successful when shown to north Americans)
