To be fair, they are not banned in the US. I am not saying it's impossible, but they are going to take a hit

Yes I have met many Chinese people on Facebook and it never stopped them. Plus their tiktok videos were basically the Chinese Version of YouTube
And they mnagaged to make it the biggest social media platform.
 
As far as I know USA and India ban tiktok from their country.
 
I actually do not understand the hate for tiktok. sometimes I browse it for funny content and some of it is pretty good. Of course it's full of cringe as well, but its not the app's fault. Its the people that makes it stupid. And if one app gets banned, people will move to other place, like youtube or whatever. So..
 
And how is the tiktok users fairing after the ban?
 
I also don't understand the hate... people make money with that, nothing wrong with that, also if people would complain about privacy... really? :rolleyes:
 
Im curious to see how the next 6 months of tik Tok evolves, if it does at all.

Hoping to get in b4 based tik tokers run the world.

If you don't like it, you may not be able to follow it. It is very interesting to ask for someone else to have it banned !!!
I think this is a despotic attitude ...
 
Many of these news are just a PR action agreed with the country's authorities. This has already happened with telegram in russia, when everyone was frightened by the blocking, but in fact it turned out to be a fake that was aimed at drawing attention to the application. They even staged a fake war between the government and telegram so that as many people as possible believed in his anonymity and thereby attracted a lot of attention from the whole world:D
