The thread title is only half-truth or not even that. New downloads of the app are disabled from 20th Sept. The already downloaded apps can still be used until 12th November, no updates though. Tiktok still have close to 2 months left to work out something with Oracle, Walmart.

On the other hand WeChat will become defunct from 20th Sept in the US.
