Someone may argue that testing different bids within the same campaign will result in bid competition. I believe this notion is a myth tho so this post I will walk you through my most printin Cost Caps Strategy
1. Testing Strategy
1. Start by creating a campaign with a daily budget limit of $100 to avoid unexpected high bids draining your budget.
2. Use automatic targeting and include 3 creatives and 3 ad copies in the campaign.
3. Duplicate the ad group 20-30 times.
4. Set the ad group budget to $2,000 per day, as it is unlikely to spend more than 10% of this budget, especially if sales are low.
5. Experiment with different bids for each ad group to determine the most effective bid amount. For example, try bids such as $8, $8.25, $8.50, $8.75, $9, $9.25, etc.
Starting with lower bids can yield impressive metrics and may increase spending as sales grow.
2. Scaling Strategy
After identifying the most effective bids, consider creating numerous campaigns using those bids to scale horizontally with minimal risk. You can also experiment with various factors such as auto targeting, age group targeting, creatives, ad copy, day-parting, among others. However, it's advisable not to overdo it, such as avoiding interest targeting.
Feel free to reply this thread if you have any questions. Best of luck, everyone!
