Hey Guys,

I am thinking of having a website rental business model, and having a couple of thoughts about it. I think this kind of model is helpful to small businesses, for a small monthly fee but I am not sure if it will be profitable.

Plus, what kind of services should I include on that rented site?
I know that design should be specific for the business niche, On page SEO.

But should I include Link building? Social Media? Leads?

Not sure if it will be enough to cover the cost though.. what are your thoughts?

The company I work for allows people to pay for their website monthly, but they use an external leasing company who pay us upfront and allow the customer to pay them back monthly.

For a totally rented site, you would have to make sure you were charging enough to cover the time you spend building/maintaining the site. I would also probably add in a minimum contract length, otherwise you could end up losing money on a project.

Cool, thanks for the input!

I am also thinking about package plan to cover the cost, however I have a few questions in mind.

What about the urls, are they generic for niche or company named?
I think ranking should be included, should I target more KW or just generic too?

Other guys can chime in too :)
