Thoughts on giving away first design free?

Seems like people would be interested in that though I don't necessarily suggest that as a business model... why not do that on BHW if you're interested to try it out?

Best place to do it its on public graphic designer sites where your work can get rated and post comments/feedback on your work. This way, you can start building some reputation and, also, a portfolio to further promote your services down the road.
