Hello everybody,

I know many of you don't even make 10$ a day, and I admit I was in the same situation before..

I jotted down everything since I started in this business, and I was just looking at the notebook where I was always writing down my failures, and how I did them :D

One important point I will talk about today, and it's probably the most important.. and I truly believe that it is the reason why you don't make money online..

EFFECTIVE ACTION

Your problem might be a wrong time management, lack of motivation, methods switching.. etc.

I mean, not doing "Effective action" may not be the reason why you don't make money online (Or at least not as much as you'd like to make).. but anyway, you would like to continue reading..

What is "Effective action" ?

It's when you are out of your comfort zone, and DEEP INSIDE you know that you are doing stuff that you are actually walking of even RUNNING towards your goal.. and not just moving your body while you are still on the same place!

When you know you are not doing effective action?

* If you are reading this forum just because you are lazy to do other EFFECTIVE stuff, and not to actually learn what you need.

* If you are comfort with what you are working on.. if you have the feeling that you are NOT doing ACTUAL work..

* If you over-plan stuff! [Planning is essential, but you must be careful not to get to the level where you are just over planning stuff to avoid DOING them..]

* If you are not satisfied deeply inside with what you are working, then you are probably doing it wrong.

How to do effective work?

I remember it took me few days to LIVE CONSCIOUSLY, to know what I am doing.. and to actually do stuff that caused results I wanted..

There's no rocket science here.. you just need to TAKE ACTION, action that you planned.. action that you KNOW that it is what will lead you to achieve your goal..

Remember : DON'T AVOID HARD WORK, AND PICK THE EASY ONE... Don't look for shortcuts.. and the most important, Don't convince yourself that the easier method to get that thing is "better" and "time saving"! (Not always of course, you just need to be CONSCIOUS)

Some motivational quotes for you guys :

I collected these quotes for you guys, to keep you motivated ;)

I think the massive amount of different money making methods and techniques is the #1 reason for procrastination. The reason is that that you can easily switch to the next method whenever you encounter a little bit of resistance. This leads to a spiral of starting on new projects and never completing them.

Good post TS.

I totally agree man!

Switching to another method can be one of the "best" ways for the lazy mind to avoid hard tasks.. that's because at the start of each method, it's easy.. and when things get harder, we just switch to another start of another project..

Also, people love the excitement of starting on new things, and when that initial excitement is gone, they search for that feeling again by looking for new methods and books on how to make money.

They're addicted to the high of learning how to make money. I was in that boat myself for a few months so I know how damaging this state of mind can be.

Guess this didn't help

I'll try harder next time :D

not the first post of this sort definitely. Maybe people just don't have anything usefull to say.

I think quite good way is to make plan, write it down and do what it says on paper. And when you start doubting what your doing, its easy to remember this was planned and though of good idea back then.

Great post. Definitely agree, it is too easy to leave failed projects and move onto new ones.

I think that's part of the learning curve though - when your inexperienced, you don't have the confidence to stick things out so you keep moving onto new things .

The more experienced you get, the more confidence you have to stick at something even though it "appears" as if it's not working:)

Most important thing is keep working hard and never give up!

Indeed. I forgot to say. But One of the most inportant things is to finish the plan. Its like a race you ain't winning shit if you don't get to finish. After that you can see if the reward is good enough for another run.

This is one clever quote

Respect. Will take notes of your words.. Except for the fact that I'm stuck with national service and only have computer access with internet on weekends :( am using my blackberry now. At least I can still surf the net and read useful info here. Thanks

This is a great post it's always good to see someone take the time to post something positive that really helps without a catch.

Maybe we were all just out there taking effective action?

I dig this post, Wiz - It's actually along the same lines of what I've been thinking about today; How to more effectively organize my time and actions so that I'm not just spinning my wheels.

I had a little progress, but know all too well what GimmeMoney's talking about - being addicted to the high of learning to make money online.

Too many projects, not enough progress.

Definitely. When I first found BHW in April, my brain was in chaos mode for months! What should I do? What is this? New method? EASY method?! That other method sounds good! This method sucks. I HAVE A LIFE PLAN.. no wait, this method is boring. OMG NEW METHOD- Then your brain explodes from an information overload.

I have so many projects I started and forgot about. Of course, which each project I learned a few things. Even now I can't help but look at the recent threads of BHW to learn something new. The high of learning how to make money is indeed horrible, BUT eventually methods will start to stick out to you, you'll stop looking at EVERY single thread, and actually follow through with your ideas! Though I could be applying more effective action.

This is really a great post OP! Just taking action won't do you any good, taking EFFECTIVE action is the key! You could seem productive all day and get nothing done, or be the person who works effectively for a few short hours and is making a full-time income in that time.

Im reading your posts while driving! You guys are awesome
